    so if we needed to claim the warranty would we have to go through ebay or could we just go into an officeworks?

      You'd receive a tax invoice from Officeworks directly, so would take it up with Officeworks. I believe you shouldn't have any problems taking it into your local store.

      More so, warranty you could also take it up with Apple as well (1st year Apple warranty, 2nd year ACL as it's Aust stock).

    Hi guys, I do not need the original packing of the ipad to claim TRS right. It does not mention on the airport site, but want to be very sure about this. Thank you.

      Nah. I don't know about the Sydney airport but our Perth international airport no one is there to check your item but only a form with an envelop at the counter for you to complete and attach with your tax invoice and that's it. If you want to be sure make sure the iPad's serial number you are taking out of the country matches with the serial number stated on the ax invoice then you will be fine.
