How about you post some deals…

      • +3

I already commented on the existing Dyson bing deal that this was available. How about you stop cluttering ozb with the same offer?

        • +1

This deal is too good to go hidden in another post, K could do with better etiquette, but the results are good.

    Cheapest ever! (for Aussie stock)

  • Link to the original coupon post!

  • You get in the bowl…

  • Why is this cheaper than the animal version?
I believe the only difference between the models is the absolute has the soft roller head and the animal doesn't, so it should be more expensive..?

    • Turbo brush?

    • yeah i've been looking into that, seems the absolute is the better, as it has the extra roller. but thats the only difference it seems.

on the Dyson website, they seem to have a sale on the Absolute making them a bit cheaper, so it looks like Bing Lee is passing on that discount, plus the 20%

      source: http://shop.dyson.com.au/vacuum-cleaners/handstick

      • so if you have an animal that malts whats the better one to go for?

        • +1

I would assume the cheaper one regardless? The Absolute has exactly the same fittings, PLUS the one for timber/tiled floors…

They bang on about the direct drive cleaner head being good for pets… they both come with that head.

        • I'm also interested in this.

        • @geoffs87: thanks for the info, still unsure if this is worth the money when have an in-home Vac system but atleast I know what models to go for if future sales come up.

Six hundred bucks for a vacuum cleaner you must be joking
Bought mine from Aldi $50 works perfectly

once you go dyson, you never go back

      • I bought a Dyson and it is the biggest piece of crap. Truly an amazingly bad design. My 30 year old Electrolux was so much better. You have to pick up anything larger than a pea otherwise the vacuum gets clogged and requires special screw driver bits to dismantle to get the rubbish out. It is totally beyond me how anyone could see them as a good brand. And if you look at these stupid bladeless fans that cost hundreds of dollars, what a joke. Get a fan than works better for $20 from big W. It's all for people who want to show off their home appliances.

    • What model Dyson was that?

    • +1

You've caught us out, it's a joke, well done.

  • Will wait for this under $500

  • $600 for a cordless vacuum, the world has gone mad.

    • It costs more outaide of this double combo sale.

    • +10

$1,829 for a smart phone. The world is going mad-er?

      • Yes that is absolutely nuts but apple fans will be lining up.

  • Contemplating between this cheapest-ever-but-still-600-bucks Dyson v8 and the $300 Xiami Robot Vacuum :(

I own the Xiaomi Mi robot and it is awesome, for time convience. However you still need another vacuum for stairs, cars, corners, for under objects and for a quick isolated clean.

I'm looking at the V6 Slim to supplement my Xiaomi Mi.

      • +1

couldnt agree more - just pulled the trigger on the v8 absolute+ tho. I've owned a DC35 and it was good except for battery life.
this battery life is so much better than the v6.
Have pets, kids and a hard floor.
Also have the Xiaomi and love it - great for a daily vacuum, but it doesnt do the simple spot clean stuff or stairs, corners, skirting and doesnt clean as well.
Got the added attachments for hard to reach places

  • out of stock??

    • Back in stock this morning. We had the same problem yesterday!

      Just got one!

  • Out of stock! Third dyson v8 deal I've missed out on ):

  • I already have dc58 and v6 both working fine. just hate the bin emptying process but i am finding it hard to justify 600 bucks simply yo have more convenient bin emptying…. what do u reckon?

    • Maybe consider the Dyson v7 animal instead? The pricing and specs is somewhat in between the v6 & v8 absolute with less accessories of course.

      • yeah that one is also being considered

  • +2

Just got one BING! BING! BING!

  • must resist….

    • Couldn't resist and ended up buying one. :)

  • This or DJI spark. ho ho ho

  • would David Jones do price match??

  • Sooo cheap!!

  • The v6 absolute is now $399.20 plus $10 shipping or free c&c.
