  • Ok, which rice cooker :)

    https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?showdbp=false&_sacat=0&_f…

I don't want to buy a cheap one if it isn't great. But equally, I don't want to buy a Tiger if it is only 10% better..

Consequently, this repeats in my head every time we have a sale.

I also keep toying with buying a Philips AirFryer but I have yet to buy one of these too…

    • Zojurushi!!

      • Damn, I was looking at these recently too but they are even harder to pick up on a deal. And again, they cost the $$$'s.

    • Did they mark up the price?

I have a Tiger. Swear by it. If you make rice a few times a week you should buy a Tiger and never look back.

  • Looking at getting this Phillips All In One Slow cooker. read a few good reviews. Is this the OB cooker of choice?!

Medion PC with GTX 1070, 16GB RAM, 256 SDD, 2TB HDD and i7 6700 for $1519.20 pick up is pretty cheap for a pre-built 1070 system. Looks like the one that ALDI was selling for $1999 last year.

    • +4

A quick parts list comes to ~$1450 So for $1500 built with windows + 2y warranty that's a pretty good deal.

    • +1

Still no sweet refurbished deal but for brand new it is good.

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/310601

This is the deal I regret passing on.

And for $100 more there was that 15.6" refurbished laptop with a GTX 1070 :(

Squandered deals. Ah well there is always next time.

      • +1

I missed that old deal by seconds. Still haunts me to this day.

Any recommendation for best value 65" TV?

  • THANKS!

Just grabbed http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dyson-Small-Ball-Multi-Floor-Comp… for $329.20 posted. Decided to replace the old DC19 because it's a pig to store. Plus I may sell my DC58 since this looks like it can do car interiors as well.

The Dyson small ball is about $400 elsewhere right now

No price jacking from Bing Lee, ebay price as as JB, HN and TGG.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Hisense-55-UHD-LED-Smart-TV-5…

    • thinking about a 65 inch version of the same

      • Just bought the 75" version of the N7. Best value tv around. The N7 series gets great reviews even against the Samsung and LG equivalents. Highly recommend.

  • I was going to get the Breville rice box but the Tiger JAX-S10A comes to $248.20 with this code. Anyone know if the Tiger would be much better then the Breville?

    • +1

I am sure the Breville rice cooker will do just fine however personally I would always pick a Japanese brand for rice cookers.

    • +2

      +1 Tiger

    • Buy a Tiger you will never go wrong. Most people I know (I'm asian) own one of these and they last for 10 years minimum, they also cook very good rice which is a given.. lol

The only thing that ever goes wrong are the inner pans. The Teflon coating flakes off overtime so you just buy a new pan.

  • -1

Would the Bing Lee stores price match this deal?

I emailed them about this and they found a solution for me! Note I'm from Canberra - don't know why they consider it as "regional" or "rural":

        Hi,

Sorry to hear you are experiencing issue with your purchase.

Unfortunately we are currently unable to fix the issue to enable the Click & Collect for those customers located in the freight excluzion zone.

The only solution we have is for you to change to the postcode to Sydney postcode (with your correct address) and select the store you wish to collect.
This should allow for your order to go through.

        Please try this steps:
        - Log in to your eBay account
        - Click “select a store”
        - Please enter “store post code” at click & collect search
        - Select Bing Lee store you like to collcect from
        - Click “Buy it Now”
        - Enter the discount code “PBING20” on the bottom of page
        - On the “POST TO” please enter your “correct address” with Sydney Metro post code (ex:2000)
        - Then click “PayPal” to pay the order.

We have tried this steps, and it worked.

Please note this applies only to the Click & Collect order (we won't be able to ship your order).

        Hope this helps.

        Thank you.

        Kind Regards
        LiLo

        • I'm trying to get a dryer, but I live in Brisbane CBD… So I can't post or click or correct. So only option is to pick up if I live in Sydney?
