  • Wow, stupidly cheap! Great deal OP.

  • Cheers OP, was wondering why no-one had posted this earlier. Shipping time's are killer though.

    • How long does Bing usually take to ship items?

      • I'm not sure, but I noticed when ordering this one the estimated delivery date went from 5th-10th of October to 11th-12th of October for me.

Allowing 5 days to process and ship plus a couple days postage (i.e. the 5th) seemed reasonable but the 11th-12th is almost 3 weeks for AU stock.

    • Listing seems to say that the item can't be posted.
Edit: nevermind, appears to just be another example of eBay's mobile site giving incorrect information.

  • Why do you think the price of the phones will go up? Or are you referring to the sale ending?

    • +1

Last eBay 18% sitewide offer a few days ago, Bing Lee upped the price from $999 to $1098 about 30 minutes after the offer started.

      • Thanks for letting me know.
I guess I'll wait for demand to die down a little bit with the new iPhone and Google Pixel 2 coming out.

  • Anyone know if these are carrier branded? Description on the listing doesn't say either way.

    • What's wrong with carrier brand?
Any benefit of not being one?
I don't restart my phone every 5 min so I don't mind seeing the brand logo at start up.

May be some bloatware as well.

      • +1

If it's carrier branded it comes with carrier's firmware and you have to wait for carrier's update releases (unless you flash it to a generic firmware yourself)

Hey STon3r - i got one last week, its not carrier branded

    • Awesome, thanks!

  • so freakn' tempting at that price…

  • Ooh ready for pickup now. That was quick. Thanks op

  • Any s8 plus deal ?

    • +2

Just bought one from Bing Lee for $999

Not so much a deal though..

  • SMB speed is very slow on s7 and s8. If you transfer files from home network like NAS drive then think before buying. The issue has persisted for many months now and samsung hasnt provided a fix.

  • will the receipt for TRS say 999 or 799 from binglee?

    • $999

    • Unlike other sellers BingLee invoice will include the discount… So $799

  • Will they be able to deliver it to melbourne within a week as i am travelling overseas? So can claim TRS.

    • Just do Click and Collect at a local Bing Lee store - if they have it in stock then you could pick it up that day (I'd call the store before you buy to confirm)

      • Sorry i am in Melbourne and Bing Lee is only in Sydney:(

  • People. You should be waiting for the soon to be here LG V30.
