Sorry to annoy those that have just bought from ShopMonk, but this only came back in stock today (I've been re-checking over the last few weeks). I've been waiting for stock before I post.

This appears to be the lowest price for Australian stock at the moment, and it appears to have only dropped beneath this price when Myer had them in an eBay sale.

Unless Officeworks has stock in your local store, you will be unable to price match as they're out of stock online, but iFrog do a great job of keeping prices low everyday so best to support them!

This is a great everyday price for them so enjoy!

        When people price matched the Google Home from one digitals they didn’t even check shipping price so there’s a really good chance they’ll match.

          Try another store. There’s once jb staff was so fuss about me purchasing s6 edge with that $12 Telstra prepaid phone trade in for $100 if you remember the deal last year or two, he literally throw the s6 to me and surprisingly the phone’s opened before. The rep said they test thier phones before selling. I refused to accept as the seal’s broken he then started swearing. Very bad experience at JB Altona VIC. I’d never visit that store again

      Last time I price matched at JB, I was asked if the store I was matching with (MSY) had a physical store. Is this a common occurrence and is it policy? Also, who hasn't heard of MSY?

      Got price matched from Office works but with shipping cost minus 5%. Came down to $179 with 2 years AU warranty.

      Personally I find Airpods' sound thin and lack of bass. I would rank its sound quality as average for earphones.

        It could be due to the low expectations I had..I have the first jaybird bluebuds X and AirPods def sounds better. Plus love the feature which allows u to charge ur headphone when u put it in the case.

      Can second this. Bought a pair from OW and I'm quite surprised about the quality of the sound. Bass is definitely better than standard earpods.

      Picked up one at Officeworks as well. Only 1 more left from the store I bought it at.

      They did the same thing - price match but combined with shipping, less 5%. $179.38 in the end!

      Product was apparently being sold at OW's cost price @ iFrog, so took them awhile to check it before they approved it.

        I don't know why but $180 feels like a rip-off to me.
        If they were $90… maybe.

        They simply sound good, but not great. Nowhere near the quality of earpods and headphones at that price.
        And the battery life seems rather thin. Which also doesn't help when they need to be charged separately with the phone.
        I feel like its a degradation in the actual experience compared to the regular plug-in earPods.

        I mean the regular headset and Galaxy S8; " It Just Works "…. unlike this tomfoolery with Apple.

        I just visited HN to pay full price on airpods since iFrog is out of stock.
        Then I just asked the rep if they can price match it by any chance.
        He was so positive attitude and checked the website on his computer, ‘mouse dragging’ out of stock text. And check if it’s AU company. I then showed your receipt saying ‘I heard Myer also price match this’. He said he can price match because the site looks legit and AU company. I paid the same price as stated on iFrog.($168.87)

        It’s my first time using ‘price match’ and pretty impressed.(thought it’s a myth). Thanks all Ozbargainers!

          Yes, sometimes it really depends on the staff, sometimes you get unlucky and get a rude one. I went to JB HIFI first and it was packed, the staff was not being helpful and brushed me off at my first inquiry. I went next to Myer where it wasn’t busy and the staff was really nice and he just asked me to show the website and confirmed it’s an Oz store and then bam! Got my new AirPods! They’re the best thing!

    I have just price beat at Officeworks over the phone. 1300 OFFICE. $179.38 (delivery factored in as per price match policy).

    Declaration: I was previously associated with Officeworks (nothing to do with the price match).

      Yeah, the Apple Earpods have the worst fit for my ears, assume the Airpods would be the same otherwise I would be interested.

      Not like you can put new tips on them to improve the fit or anything like the older Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic.

      But even those you couldn't get replacement tips from Apple and the aftermarket tips weren't quite as good.
