"Everyone loves a refreshing drink of ice cold coke, be in as a soft drink or with something to give it a bit of taste (wink wink). In this convenient 390ml the bottles can be taken anywhere if you’re out for the day, or pour into a glass to enjoy in a more sophisticated way.

You will receive 24 x 390ml bottles.
Each Coca Cola 390ml Bottles 24 pack is sold separately.

24 x 390ml bottles
Best before: 10.02.2011"

Expires 10th of Feb 2011, I guess if you buy bottles often this would be good for you. You can get 50c cans from supermarkets, but this is bottles, so $1 isn't bad. These are usually $1.60 for wholesale price.

"Ingredients:
Saturated carbonated water, sugar, artificial colouring (150d), artifical flavour (338), natural caffeine.

This product is sent without any wrapping (i.e. just in the product box), so if you are ordering this as a present for someone who may see it when it’s delivered, we recommend having it sent elsewhere (maybe to your work address for example) so the surprise isn’t ruined. "

Item Price $14.99 + $5.99 shipping = $20.98 delivered.

  • I guess this is good for those that specifically want the 390ml bottles, but $1.14 per bottle isn't great when you can get 4 x 2L bottles from Coles for $8. That's $1 for a litre of coke, not a 390ml bottle. But then again, not as portable.

    • It's actually ~88 cents per bottle or $2.24 a litre….sounds cheap if you compare it to your local milk bar, but expensive if you compare it to 2L bottles, or even blocks of coke cans. Coke cans from Woolies work out at $1.63/L this week.

    • if there's 24 bottles and it cost 21, how does it work out to be more than $1 per bottle?

  • I nearly went for this - then I did the arithmetic. Nup.

artifical flavour (338) is not as nice as artifical flavour (336)

    • and what has AF. 336 got to do with coca cola? lol fail

drinking woolworths coke right now, AF. 338

The OP's copy/paste of the vendors' bumph about "how to use" and "sent without any wrapping" are totally lame!

  • Seriously?
    This is terrible value.

    • How is it terrible value? sure for pure coke value it isn't brilliant but you try and buy 390mL bottles for $1.14 a bottle thats good value

  • Why does it have no wrapping? Is it like a book or magazine without its cover?

    • magazine without a cover would be the coke bottle without the label. i think they just mean it isn't in the typical coca cola market wrapping ie. like the ones from Big W. instead just in a plain shipping carton.

  • Pretty poor value - as pointed out, cans (only 15ml less) can be 60c or under. I won't even compare to the 2L/3L as those aren't really portable.

  • that's what i'm trying to say, obviously when you compare to cans or bottles you don't get your value worth. but i know for a fact people are always buying bottle cokes, from local convenience stores, lunchbars etc. this is a deal for them. not for some of us who would prefer to buy the cans or 2L bottle.

  • I love coke from plastic bottles instead of cans. The chemicals leaching from the plastic into the coke give a nice tang to it :)

  • Break down the offer: $14.99 = 62.46 cents per 390ml bottle (total of 9.36 litres) = $1.60 litre
Coke cans are $9.00 for a decent special on 18 packs of 375ml (total of 6.75 litres) = $1.33 litre

Therefore a decent price for 24 bottles of coke would be $12.45.

A negative on the deal is that 1-day wants $5.99 in shipping and will only allow you to buy one slab.

this isnt a hard drive where bigger is always better.

cant be compared to cans ( you cant seal ) or
big bottles that generally require an assisted drinking device i.e. glass

can almost be compared to 600ml bottles although that is too much for a lot of people or they dont want their kids to have that much but dont mind them having some for a treat…of course I usually pay $2.50+ per 600ml from the machines.

so for what it is …..its a good deal

    • yeah thats it. i sell about 60+ 390ml's, and 80+ 600ml's daily (not including diet/zero/fanta etc.). all comes down to preference.

      • Well thats it then. You have talked me into it.
I'm gona sell coke to kids.
