Breakthrough Pascal Architecture

MSI’s Geforce GTX 1070 Armor 8G OC provides unprecedented speeds and efficiency. Improving upon its popular predecessor, the GTX 970, this upgraded version blows it out of the water in both performance and size. Thanks to its innovative Pascal architecture—which has been in the making since 2012—this GPU delivers clocking speeds up to 1746 MHz. It packs 7.2 billion transistors into a smaller fabrication process, which makes for a more powerful, more compact, and more energy efficient GPU.

Stutter-Free Gaming, Maximum Heat Dissipation

Built to meet the demands of the the latest in gaming technology including virtual reality, multiple monitor setups, and ultra high-resolution optics, the GTX 1070 Armor 8G OC is equipped to handle any type of game with ease. With plug-and-play capability with the latest VR headsets and low latency performance, it gives gamers an immersive experience they can see, hear, and feel. To keep from overheating, it features a Dual Fan system with a traditional fan blade, a dispersion fan blade, and Zero Frozr technology, which generates more air pressure for silent performance throughout the most graphically demanding situations.

Turn on the Afterburners

MSI Afterburner is a world-famous cross-vendor GPU overclocking tool. The interface gives you access to detailed information about your graphics card and allows for a wide range of tinkering and adjustments. Plus, download the MSI app for one-click performance profiles, full control over LED lighting, and access to the EyeRest tab to help keep you focused and rested.

      Quoting xuqi from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/330433

      "MSI warranty is Not international..

The only GPU manufacturer offering International warranty is EVGA, but even then you'd need to send the GPU at your cost to Taiwan should you require RMA."

  • Does the 1080 blow this one out of the water or better off just getting this?

  • how do ppl deal with dead on arrival gpu's via massdrop anyway ?

    • +1

Massdrop support are REALLY good. I had a boardgame come with water damage in the box (inside the plastic mind you) and they replaced it within a week free of charge and were extremely attentive in sorting it out.
