  Don't worry, you're not missing much. Essentially identical with same sensor and everything except this supports wireless charging.
  
  I prefer wired and picked up a wired G403 from Harvey Norman for $47 on clearance.

Hesitant about built-in proprietary battery. Currently, replacing MX Revolution's battery - luckily, it is non-proprietary and there's an iFixIt for it.
There's likely enough internal empty space - more than sufficient for 2x AA as in G603 - so, it's all about churn and associated profit.
