Bonus cashback rates on hotels.com giving you a total discount of 14.75% off your booking.
As usual, most major hotel chains may be excluded from using coupon codes and can't be used in conjunction with the hotels.com rewards program.
Alternatively, you can use the hotels.com rewards program and book without the coupon and still get the pricepal cashback.

I have the crappers with hotels.com at the moment. They will do everything they can to get out of their Price Guarantee, including lying.
Today I asked them to price match THEIR OWN PRICES on a hotel. They web form wont let you send an attachment of more than 1MB so a PDF of the search results can't be accepted (was about 3MB) so I took a snap shot of the price.
First they tell me they wont accept it because the dates aren't showing (they could have, but just not to, search their own site to see the price).
Now that I can email them direct, I send the full PDF.
Then they say they wont price match because they claimed the price did not include taxes and charges (it did). So I went to pretend to book the room and -shockingly - it was the same price.
Then they tried to tell me they wouldn't price match because they couldn't verify how many people I did the search for (if they looked up my booking number I gave them, they could have seen it was for 2 people).
After jumping through all their hoops and correcting their own understanding of their own website, they finally gave me the credit. The whole waste of their time and my time could have been saved if they just looked it up and compared it themselves. Would have taken 2 minutes. But what really got me was tying to tell me the prices I showed them didn't include taxes.
Once I finish my next trip and use my credit, I'm done with them I think.
Got a 10% code which is next to nothing when it's applied only to the first room, on the first night, excluding taxes & services, and forgoing cashback claim. Why bother? You'd be better off with the 6.75% cashback.
Coupon plus cashback doesn't usually work for hotels.com
I still often use quidco.com when using hotels.com as they often have bonus periods of 10% cashback with hotel rewards included.
