Good value for visitors but great value for locals
Dreamworld has some great rides ,IMAX theatre and a water park as well
The only thing that puts me off is the whole breeding tigers for show and tell and keeping them in small enclosure.
Also don't know if they still walk Bengal Tigers on a leed through the crowd letting small snacks (I mean kids) pet them but this seems like a resipe for disaster
But if you can manage not to die there ,good value.
Also at Whitewater World don't let your kids run and jump into the giant slide as they can fly out and die,
Don't think they fixed that even after one dead
Also great value if you can avoid death
And Skypoint should be fine, probably
    Remember Queensland
    Perfect one-day
    Mincemeat the next

Uh oh they are still open after those serious deadly accidents? What a joke!

same way people still are using airplanes after plenty of accidents. It is a shame!!

  • Went a few times during the last school holidays and still not busy at all, a few minutes for most rides at most. Quite a few rides were being fixed and large areas with derelict rides though… They are finally removing the the old mine train ride, or at least doing something with it, so perhaps some rejuvenation to come. That whole area along with the infamous river rapids, closed log drop, and of course the old water park, represents quite a lot of wasted space.

  • Very sad loss of life last year. Hopefully report findings necessitate no industrial manslaughter charges being brought against management. Until recently easily been the best theme park in the Southern Hemisphere. Wonderful place and terrific staff. AVEO aged care company owned now (I believe). So I'm pretty worried now as their Nursing Home etc track record is beyond appalling. (Few big pollies got shares with this outfit eh?!). Hope and pray SAFETY is integral :-|

  • Remember when it was in its hayday, I’m sure I remember a paddle steamer ? Well not a real one, but cool. Well I went there 3 weeks ago and it’s just a mosquito swamp now, rotting jetty’s and bugs. Yuk.

Heaps of rides out of action. Kids had fun but we filled 4 hours before we were repeating rides & had done the entire park.

    Shame.
