First off this may not be a deal, at the time of writing I can't find any official info from the EB Games website or their social media to verify if this deal is real. For now I'm relying solely on a third-party gaming website for this offer.

EB Games at Tarneit Central in Victoria (just north of Werribee and Hoppers Crossing) have scheduled their grand opening for today and is offering 20% off everything excluding hardware and gift cards from Wed 4/10 to Sun 8/10. Offer is obviously valid for in-store only and you'll need to present your EB World membership card to receive the discount (free to join and can be done in-store).

Until somebody can verify this deal is real in person or when EB Games release an official announcement please take this deal with a grain of salt. The EB Games store finder currently doesn't even list Tarneit as a store location. If anyone visits Tarneit Central today and can verify this deal is real it will be greatly appreciated.

    Just came back from the opening. Few things to note;

    • 20% off applies to already-discounted things, including games from that one-week sale.
    • Sparsely-stocked, unsurprising since they just opened.
    • 4 Super Nintendo Mini consoles in-stock (as of 11:00am). Sadly, discount does not apply there.
    • The collector's editions of Ark and Destiny 2 (both PS4), as well as Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle were in stock. Discount applies to those too.
    • Stock will most likely be static for the rest of the 5-day sale, with the exception of more hardware incoming soon.

    This was on for Greensborough in the last week of September, long line as it started at 6pm Wednesday.

    Bought myself some amiibos, Logitech tkl pro g keyboard ($125 after 20%) and Metroid.

    Then, after the launch night, they offered 10% for level 1-2, 15% for level 3 and 20% for level 4s
