Need to check stores for availability.
Extra 50% off is automatically applied at check out.

ie: Nike All Court 2 comes down to $25 compared to Hype DC's sale ($50)

Edit: Call your local store to see if they will honour the 50% off, as according to this comment: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/5149893/redir
they should be able to do it.

tried 10 different shoes…everything is only available for click and collect. And there is none available within 100 kms of Melbourne CBD. sigh keep trying

    • +6

yeh same with sydney everything is not available click and collect only with a 200km radius

      • I have tried some. They are not available at all!!

      • Yes, it seems that the only place that you can actually get any of these is Wollongong - not a very good online store.

  • +7

    "WELCOME10" should give a further 10% off.

    • Do I need to register? When I copied the above WELCOME10 it doesn't seem to work.

  • Thanks. Ordered a few size 13's. Lets hope they fit fine or my brother is getting shoes for christmas again.

  • +2

I can't check out, it won't let me enter my city or postcode. WTF?

    • +2

There's some JavaScript validating the suburb input - seems the database is slow. Just type the suburb in and wait (don't tab to the next field) until a drop-down list appears and select the right one.

      • The items I choose all say click and collect only, then you type the distance and the postcode, then you click on Check. Not sure when you mean to wait.

        • You're not on the checkout screen.

      • Seems like it was only an issue when logged in with an account. I logged out and went through the checkout as a guest and it worked fine.

  • +11

Really hating their website right now

  • +5

Same here - tried every capital city within 200km, and no stock, despite the size I chose being available. Methinks a scam or perhaps just a website glitch.

    • Their tool for checking is really weird. It worked once when i put within 50 km but didnt work when I put within 200km. You'll just have to be patient

  • The timberland is like 65 with delivery..wow!

  • +2

Got Nike Air max 2 white for $58.05 Shipped WOW! Such a good deal!

    Extra 10% off code: WELCOME10

    • +1

      got the same…too:)

  • looking to get the Fenty Sliders,
it says they are in stock, but i've tried all postcode (all states), it all says that cannot find any store that has them in stock.?????

    • Seems like most of them say that they are in stock yet they are not. Seems like delivery is the only option

      • too bad the only one with delivery option is the blue one and size 5.5……

        • Unlucky man, better luck next time

  • +1

I'm wondering whether it's just a website issue - seems to be getting slower and slower.

  • +4

Nothing is available or won't load :\

  • +1

Tried quite a few shoes and none available within 200 km from the Gold Coast.
I'm think they only have one or two pair in the whole country.

    • +1

I've tried all postcodes of the capital cities for 200km radius, even though it says in stock, but can't find any that's available

    • Air max 1 ultra 2.0 UK 10 and Dr marten grey boot uk 11 works for me but stuck at checkout.

  • EDIT: getting Error :'(

  • Can't get past suburb field, it just keeps deleting itself? any tips

    • +1

      Same here…. Pissing me off.

    • +3

WAIT FOR A WHILE UNTIL THE AUTO FILLING SHOW UP

      • (profanity) champion

    • just wait for some time.. pay attention to the loading icon

      • I don;t see where to add the suburb, only a drop down list for postcode (the shoes I chose are click and collect only). Perhaps the suburb is for delivery?

  • coupon doesn't work though.

  • still waiting for the confirmation email…

  • +6

me thinks it's a scam. none of the shoes i like are available as echoed in previous comments.

  • So the further 50% off is online only and not available in store?

  • +4

Worst. Sale. Ever. Can't click and collect anything. Lame.

  • Finally, got Timberland Radford Black sz11 - took ages to get through checkout. coupon code didn't work. Used Paypal and have receipt of payment.

    • +1

I bought those and a pair of Nike Air Max. Probably my best $130 spent this year haha. Although, I managed to grab a pair of timbos from surfstich for like $50 last year.

      • Finally got through as well! Tried both on safari (Mac) and safari (iPhone) at the same time and phone got through slightly faster

  • +4

Don’t bother wasting your time. I’ve try ordering from them a few months back and nothing is available online and no click and collect within 200km of Sydney.

  • -1

Site is too slow… ozbargained! :)

    • When I put in my suburb and postcode it keeps on removing it and stating "required"

      • Same… it's driving me insane.. Safari & Chrome. same issue… has anyone found a workaround ???

EDIT: type in your address… and wait for the dropdown list to appear.. takes a good 20 seconds or so

        • -1

Are you logged in with an account? Same thing happened to me, tried checking out as a guest and it worked fine.

    • +7

Why not just mark items out of stock, seeing as they aren't available with 200km of any major city, unless you have some store in the outback none of us know about

    • Very painful. Should be able to search for delivery only. Giving up.

    • Not found anything available for click and collect. Can you confirm this is true or is it a general statement?

    • +4

      How about honouring returns?
I've still 2x pair of Kayano's gifted to me that you refused to exchange or refund.
Even your head office CBF'ed dealing with simple consumer laws.

Your post sale support is to put it simply, shit!

  • I was checking out at hype and they denied my amex! guess what! I got this offer and saved more for the same items.

  • its 50% of MRP.when trying to add to cart, comes original price.

  • The shoes I want are definitely broken. They're listed at 79$, but when you add them it adds them at full price ($150), then takes 50% off… So 75$. Hype had them cheaper earlier.

Anyways, to help people who find shoes they do want, I'll share a trick that works with chrome for the "field checks". If you enter your suburb or postcode, then hit refresh, it seems to save it in Chrome. If you do it twice, it should save both fields.

  • +2

    are these store going broke?

  • +1

A bit annoying when you can’t click and collect, with no delivery options either.

  • +1

Thanks OP! Copped the Onitsuka Tiger Corsair White/True Red and Black/Taichi Yellow for a total of $71.10 delivered by using the "WELCOME10" code.

  • +10

While this may be generous SALE, I haven't found a single item which is ready to be delivered. Checked 6 shoes and all click n collect.
Negging this deal as I can't find a store WITHIN 100 KM perimeter of either Sydney Central or Melbourne Central where the shoes are available for Click n Collect. None exist.
Waste of time and effort on MOST of the items.

  • everything is click and collect now? Before that was heaps of stuff for delivery..

  • +1

Can't pay for the item after reviewing order…it keeps refreshing

  • +5

Wasted half an hour looking for a deal, nothing available for pickup across ANY capital city in Australia.

Looks like a website glitch or dodgy advertising practices.

  • +3

Very frustrating website and 'shopping' experience.

  • +6

This is the worst site in the world. Additionally, no stock of anything seems to be available. Scam! Don't waste your time.

  • +1

    FFS!!!

  • +3

Thanks OP. Ordered a pair of asics kayano trainer evo. Great bargain for $54.50 (including shipping)

    • +3

Got mine as well (black)! Hooray for us!

      • +1

        Ordered black as well 👌

    • +2

Thanks for the idea. Copped a black pair as well for $50.50 with the Unidays code. $160 @ JD Sports so a good bargain.

    • thx!

  • Just grabbed a pair of shoes for my wife. Incredibly painful process to the point of her telling me to give up.

  • +2

Finally managed to get through in the end. 4 pairs of shoes all with free delivery at over half price, great bargain. Thanks OP!

    • HOW????

      • Just went through whichever shoes were good for delivery because some were click and collect only. Then chose the decent ones in my size and after a fairly long process, I was finally able to checkout

  • +3

Commented just to down vote this post, sounds like really dodgy practices…

  • erm… managed to get a nike air max ultra 2.0 after five attempts. For some reason, firefox was slower than safari or people have dropped off.

  • +1

    BS
Won’t even allow me to enter address

    • +1

wait for around 20 seconds for the address dropdown list before doing anything else.

    • Are you logged in with an account? Same thing happened to me. I managed to get through by checking out as a guest.

  • take my money damnit… nevermind got an order through

  • +1

    • Selected items, must mean b.s. sale in platypus terms

  • +9

Use UNIDAYS10 for extra 10%. Working as of 9.48PM (AEST). Quick before they disasble it as well!

    • damnit, ill try it on another order.

    • you legend

    • Thanks, worked!

    • Thanks this worked when WELCOME10 didn't @1:15am

  • It doesn't let me enter my suburb at checkout!

    • +1

After typing in your suburbs let it load for like a minute. Don't hit tab or click anywhere else.

      • what's the format of the suburbs in the dropdown? I'm just gonna try typing in manually…waited for 4 mins nothing happens.

        • Try putting the postcode first

  • "PRODUCT "MENS RADFORD 6-INCH ROLL TOP BLACK" IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE REQUESTED QUANTITY."
    after a million tries….

thats it! I'm going to bed

  • who the fish has designed their website. Thousands of validations in each field is killing it.

  • My paypal got charged, and got an error "cant process the order" … gg

    • Likewise, pretty sure it worked though because I got a verification email from platypus + paypal charged.

      • I didn't get any confirmation email though.. But I can see the orders on my account page with status "Processing"
