  Had to swap my 4k samsung after 6 months for an lg after a firmware update broke game mode and caused weird strobing and colour separation. It's been a year and samsung haven't patched the bug.       I still remember when we had a 20" CRT TV 📺 sitting 3 - 4 meters away .. but yet today a 55" TV is too small 😂😂😂

  Is there a point of curved screens.
  Wanting a 55inch for on the lounge wall and I'm thinking flat is better but this seems an ok price but curved screen.
  Maybe wait for a better Sony 8500 deal (or is this a much better tv)
  Do Samsung have a non curved equivalent?

    No, they only make curved screens. You are actually supposed to buy 4 and strap them to your head and use them as 360 degree VR glasses. You have been training your neck muscles, right?

  Having just bought a Samsung 55 with curved screen I wish id gone with the flat screen. No benefits that I can see but one major con - any background light scatters across the entire screen making it unwatchable
