Definitely on sale for this price at other stores - I picked up a pair earlier in the week from the store at North Lakes, Queensland.

    • Thanks I'll update description

    • Do you happen to remember what the "before" price was at Officeworks? It seems odd to me that it would be $200 at Jb and $60 at officeworks

They were originally $199.95, then reduced to $120, and then further reduced again to $60.

  • From what I can tell RRP in the US is $60, and never really sells for more than $40. Reviews not great either. Not the worst price but I have no clue how they came up with $199 as a regular price

      it's ozzie mate

      all RRPs are inflated here

we are too rich i guess ?

    • Not sure where you got that RRP from. Skullcandy sells them for USD99.99 on their own website. Reviews are pretty decent - good. If you're expecting great reviews for wireless headphones, you need to spend about five times more than what these are at $60.

    • I think you might have seen the Amazon "used" price. The "new" price I found on Amazon was here at $70USD. Other than that, they might be hard to find given that they're now a superseded model: the Hesh 3 just came out.

      • lol when Amazon does the local deal here the hesh 3 will be priced at $80AUD i reckon.

Crazy expensive for no good reason, no noise cancellation, nothing really special as far as I can see.

Only difference to El cheapo headsets is Memory foam.

    • I mean, do you own a pair of them? Reviews for them have been average to above average, and $60 for a set of wireless headphones is a steal in itself.

      • -3

No I don't own the and don't plan to, as I said nothing special about them to justify the cost

It's like arguing why someone would buy a Corolla when you can get an Audi.

        • @Ryanek:
Yeah and this is ozbargain, we need to see the value to justify the deal.

Again obviously we disagree, and that's ok.

  • Can anybody pls give me feedback on their quality.
Was looking at low 100s for a pair but if this is worth $200 in quality. I buy

They seem okay to me, although I can't really compare them to anything except low end wired Sennheisers (sennheiser hd 201). I think the reviews (eg pcmag) are accurate : 3 to 3.5 out of 5 stars. The audio quality wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad either. They didn't sound bad or distorted. It has a built in mic for phone calls, along with a plugin mic (I think you plug it in to the aux port). The headband is comfortable, the ear pieces form a decent seal around my ears and block out noise well because of that, but they were a little tight on my ears, ie I'd like bigger ear pieces ideally. But yeah, for $60 I guess it's worth it.

      • Thanks for that
From the feedback I'm getting it looks like it's nowhere worth $200
        But more $100

        • I'd agree. No idea why jb are still trying to sell it for they price. Interestingly, they're selling the newly released "hesh 3" for $219.. Oh I just noticed they decreased the price of the Hesh 2 down to $149

Thanks OP. Picked up a set at the Cannington store WA, there were two left on the shelf behind the counter. I'm no audiophile and would not pay $200 for headphones anyway, but I'm very satisfied with a $60 price tag. Very comfortable to wear.

There were a couple of other varieties of headphones on clearance, some smaller phillips for $40 and a couple of other types from $149 to $60 but the skullcandy was the biggest discount. If you are considering new headphones and are near Cannington it's worth a visit.

Just trying a pair I bought.
I'm not an audiophile but I like heavy bass. And these are surprisingly good and yet comfortable!

    Very happy with it
