Was looking for a low cost phone with a great camera and settled on this. The only reason I am getting this for the missus over a Moto G5 is I am not happy with the low light camera performance of my G5.

Whilst SydneyTec have a bad name for price jacking, the price history of this phone is consistently $359 so no jacking here; the main retailers currently have it for $329.

Target and JB have the Telstra locked version for $269 but the cheapest unlock on eBay I could find is $15. I'd rather skip the unlock hassle and the Telstra branding.

  Is yours a g5 or g5 plus?

  This phone is sd435 and a 720 screen. Also stuck on Android 6.

    Just a G5.

    She just needs the phone for Facebook, Insta, internet and photos. She will happily watch a 360p stream on our 60" TV if I forget to download 720p Bachelorette for her; resolution doesn't bother her.

  I'd rather pay for the JB or Targert Telstra locked version, buy unlock code, so if a warranty issue arise it's easy to just take it back…

  Also I am not sure Oppo does Android pay - definitely not with the R9 Plus and they have no intention to do so.
