    stop showing people this! =p

    • Haha take this down now! :)

  • Not sure the price will stay the same.

    • As mentioned before, you can buy it now then pay tom when the voucher's live

      • You can pay today's price less 20% if there will be a price rise tomorrow?

      • How? I can put it in my cart, but can't actually buy it without paying

    • It may go down. 🙃

  • The C7 just in case you weren't sure.

    • What’s the difference between this and the E7 ?

      • +8

        D.

      • +1

E7 has forward facing speakers at the bottom of the unit, thats it from what i got told

      • +2

Integrated soundbar of sorts. The c7 has two speakers for mid to high range and two woofers. The e7 has two tweeters, two mids and two woofers.

It does sound noticeably better, but I have a home theatre system hooked up to mine so I never really care about TV speakers.

  • My gut feeling tells me that this will be $4995 after the discount 😂😂

  • First time a 65" has been under $4k?

  • +2

Damn you ebay and TGG….I've been telling myself I wont upgrade my Sony Bravia from 2009 until 2019….this is so damn tempting. Aaarrghhh……decisions! Expensive damn decisions!!!

    • +1

Stay strong man! Oleds will probably be more mainstream and cheaper by then

    • Could always put that one in the bedroom, and this one in the living room. If you already have one in the bedroom, sell it. That's how the TVs get cycled through in my house.

      • Yeah my wife suggested the same (I've been warming her up to the idea of a new OLED TV since we saw our mates LG 65" OLED a few weeks ago). Not sure if I should wait it out for Amazon and/or the christmas sales though…or even just go for the Sony KD65X9300E which is a full LED backlit LCD TV, and will come in under $3K (inc. CR discount) + delivery if TGG dont remove it from this sale. I've got an international trip coming up in a couple of months that will easily set me back $6K so not sure if buying any TV right now is the best decision either :(

        • +2

OLED is worth the extra 1k.

        • I was in your situation and went for the x9300e. OLED is still in early stages. Sony x9300e is an amazing tv. Trust me it's worth it.

        • The 65x93E was $2717 with the Bing Lee ebay 20%off.
          http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Sony-X93E-65-4K-UHD-LED-Andro…

        • I'm also undecided and regret not buying the x93E from Bing Lee for $2.7k. What's the CR discount?

    • Same here Sony Bravia 2009, still runs fine. I will wait for another 2 years for something more cheaper and awesome than this.

      Stay strong!

      • Yeh its getting harder to resist. I really want (but dont really need) a new TV. Decisions.

Been eyeing up an upgrade from my Samsung 55"…not sure if I can sneak this one into the house without the wife noticing :p

  • TEMPTING!

  • Can you pick up this one without damaging it? Would it fit in a sedan? Does anyone know the dimension of the box?
Last time I visited a store they recommended not to pick up because the TV is too thin and with the 65" trying to get it inside a sedan it might damage the tv.

    • +1

I heard someone say OLED TVs must not be laid down flat. Don't know if that is true.

      • Didn't they say that for Plasma tv's?

      • 99% sure it says on the side of the box to not ship on the side. Either way the top of them are that thin you would have to be game to.

    • Hi Z Dave, I picked up the 55" TV myself and i can confirm that it does fit in the back of a landcruiser. You need to keep the box upright though and before picking it up they will open the box (this is what do at JBhifi as I bought mine from them) to make sure the screen is not cracked as the screen is very thin.
I highly recommend you take a friend who owns a Ute with you. The TV itself is quite light for its size.

      • Thanks Ostud.
lol…this time I'm seriously considering the 65" which would be larger.
I do not have access to a ute. Maybe pay the $50 shipping to avoid blowing up $4000

65" too small after using 200 inch projector

    • +1

200 inch projector screen too small after using a 400 inch screen.

      • you must live in a mansion

  • -5

    75” or no dice

  • Maybe it hasnt started yet but I just to order with the voucher code, unfortunately, it was not accepted "Looks like that's the wrong code. Please double-check and try again." using PULL20
Also, only two stores in Brisbane/Ipswich have stock, Capalaba and Lutwyche

    • From the title…. [Starts 10/10 10am]

    • Maybe it hasnt started yet

Corect. 10am so two and bit hours to go.

      • Ahh thanks, I totally missed the start time.

  • Oled and qled which one is better ? I want buy samsung q7 rather thab lg if they dont jack up the price

    • +5

      OLED >> QLED

      • Then it is tempting to get one …

    • +5

      OLED is far superior.

    • +3

      Samsung's marketing working as intended.

OLED is way better, Samsung are just trying to confuse consumers

    • QLED will be superior to OLED when it is full QLED. However, Samsung have done some marketing BS like they did with calling LCD TVs LEDs. The current tvs marketed as QLED are still using LCD panels, with QLED combined, just like LED tvs. When the panel is full QLED like an OLED panel is, then it will be superior, as it will have the same blacks as OLED, but have a far higher dynamic range available.
Not sure how Samsung have decided to combat that marketing issue when it arrives, maybe they will call them Really QLED when they finally are.

  • Ordered one for $4046 delivered!

    • ME TOO! Unreal price.

    • Did you forget to use CashRewards?
1.25% of AU $3,996.00 => An additional saving of $50 AUD.

      • Nope I used it. Having got a tracking email yet though. Wouldn't it be 1.25% off the full $4995?

        • From my past purchases with 20% off TGG eBay deals, I only received cash back off the amount that I paid (i.e. full price - discount using the coupon code).
I think that makes sense. Otherwise, you are effectively double dipping. I believe eBay has to pay Cashrewards your cash back amount. Please correct me if I am wrong about how cash back systems actually work.

        • @DoctorCalculon:

Ah ok, still, another $50 is nothing to sneeze at :)

  • Pulled the trigger. At least I don't have to worry about sourcing a 4K set when the Xbox One X lands in a few weeks.

    • My thoughts exactly!

  • +1

Unbelievable, just gave me a call - an hour after I ordered - and said they can deliver tomorrow. That's customer service!

    • Same here lol

  • +2

Is it worth waiting for Christmas deals?

    • For all the EBAY deals I have seen thus far, there has been a limit of $1,000 to the maximum discount allowed.
Unless the price of this TV drops significantly between now and Xmas, I doubt you will get a better deal than this.

  • Isn't CashRewards 3% currently for TGG or does it not apply to this deal?

    • Not sure, is that on TGG website or eBay?

I still don't have an email from cash rewards about the eBay purchases I made yesterday yet. Seems to happen a lot lately

I'm not familiar with cashrewards but thought it was worth mentioning. I might go and check out the TV today.

      • +1

        @chromium and @rextar
3% cashback applies if you order directly from TGG website. LINK: https://www.cashrewards.com.au/the-good-guys
Otherwise, orders from all eBay stores (be it TGG, Bing Lee, etc.) accrue 1.25% cashback. LINK: https://www.cashrewards.com.au/the-good-guys-at-ebay

@chromium If you don't receive an email from Cashrewards, it usually means the sale didn't track correctly. You will have to submit an enquiry after 7 days with a copy of your tax invoice. I have had this happen to me, possibly because I forgot to disable AdBlock. I wrongly assumed the Cashrewards Chrome plugin was going to get around AdBlock.

        • I actually got an email from Cash Rewards earlier:

"This is a non-promotional administration email to inform you of a recent tracking issue that is being resolved.

We've recently noticed a reporting delay on eBay transactions from Sept 22, 2017 until now. You have been identified as having clicked through to eBay from Cashrewards within this timeframe. The root cause of the issue has been identified and addressed by eBay, and we are working together to get your cashback from eBay purchases added into your Cashrewards account.

There is nothing you need to do at this time. We appreciate your understanding and patience and would like to thank you for using Cashrewards."

  • I bit the bullet too. I was chasing the C6T for a good 5-6 months but gave up on that in favour for the newer model that was likely to have a software update released to fix input lag.

Instead of TGG, I ended up using a voucher back from 21/9 (from Ebay) after their website had issues and they didn't add my $500 credit to the short 20% off deal when I first tried to purchase this. So, I contacted appliance central (who last sold this for $4650), got them to drop a chunk off the price; added my voucher and the total price included free shipping was $3950. With cashrewards worked out around $50 more cheaper, or ~$150 cheaper compared to shipped price shipped from, TGG. The problem with them; is you need 600 points of ID to pick up from Good Guys and I made myself a promise with that; NEVER AGAIN. As long as I have ebay purchase receipt and/or even Paypal transaction, that's enough to pick up an item. A postla address when I'm there IN PERSON to pick up is actually irrelevant.

Appliance Central have since raised the price back up.

@OP: Please kindly consider updating the deal title to include the model number LG OLED65C7T so that it will show up in search results:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/search/node/OLED65C7T

    Thanks in advance.

  • Had Betta Home Living offer to match the price, or $4,290 on 55 months interest free; interest free is pretty appealing as I don't wanna outlay the cash in full as I have a sizable (costly) project at home I wanna complete.

    • @matthewk85:

Which Betta Home Living store was this?
With the PULL20 coupon code, is eBay paying for the discount of $1K or TGG? I doubt most retail stores like Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi will price match this deal.

      • Port Lincoln.
Someone in WA posted on WP a receipt at JB's with the price match too.
My local HN's wouldn't price match.
        Can't hurt to ask.

        • @matthewk85 I think it is better to order via the TGG eBay store, as you will receive an additional $50 from Cashrewards (which price matching retailers may not compensate you for).

        • @DoctorCalculon: lol, I wasn't disputing that another store would be a better offer, just merely stating that for people like me that don't have a local TGG (closest being over 600km away), it might still be worth contacting what stores are local. Not to mention what they can offer with interest free if you don't have a spare 4k lying about.

  • It's so frustrating, you walk into TGG and they pretend they don't know about the ebay 20% off. Eg: the guy said they can do the 55" for ~$2,900 down from ~$3,100 acting like it's a great deal when I can just go home and get it for under $2,400 with a few clicks. I cbf doing business in person now. I understand they usually can't match ebay but customers must be getting screwed if they're unaware of the ebay sale.

  • Just noticed on TGG site it has OLED65C7T marked as a 'clearance' item. Surely not already? Would the price drop below $4,000 soon, assuming another 20% ebay sale?

    • @rexstar
I think the reason it is marked as clearance is because TGG want to clear all 2017 model stock before the arrival of the 2018 models.

  • I’m going to have to part with my cash soon….especially as I’m getting an Xbox One X and currently only have a HD tv.
