  • Can we claim GST for this if traveling overseas?

  • -2

Cant trust this seller anymore after what happened last time!!!

    • +1

What happened in that link appears to be just a typo in the description and the sales rep not understanding what it meant. If you want to know the specs, it's always best to check an official source like the manufacturer.

      • -3

If it was a typo they should have changed it by now after I made a complaint and lots of messages were sent! I don't care if the sale rep not understanding what it meant or they are just giving a BS answer; That was the official response from the seller who got my money. If you say the Ethernet speed is a typo why one can't say there is a typo in the title as 3G model has got very similar features but Ethernet speed of 1000 Mbp. When you pay for something, you expect to get what you paid for and not something else. So please agree that this seller is dodgy and not trustworthy. I just shared my experience here and I hope it would be of benefit of others.

  • Hi OP, can you do a deal for Xiaomi 4x 3GB 32GB? Thanks

    • will check it with supplier, some of them still not back to office.

      • Cheers

        • hi again, supplier will back tomorrow. will get feedback when they back to office

        • @fchis: just get feedback from supplier, cost price is rising recently and also don't have enough stock. so don't have any deal plan for now

I bought this from Lightinthebox about 3 weeks ago, got it a short time ago.

So i can answer any questions anyone has about this.

One thing to note quickly is that this comes with single version windows 10.
I installed fresh windows 10, and no wifi drivers work out of the box. You'll need to download the drivers, and searching google for the driver brings up old links with an old incompatible driver.

Downloading the latest Intel driver from the Intel website worked perfect though. Keep in mind this does NOT have a lan port.

I'm very happy with this device so far.

    • Do you know the manufacturer of the wifi module?

      • Don't recall anything specific, and aren't home right now.

It worked after installing the Intel PRO/Set wireless drivers.

        https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/72252/Intel-PROSet-…

Top item there, 64 bit, was what I used.

        • I guess that makes it easier to obtain drivers. Good thing it wasn't some obscure brand making them.

          @ccsvchost:
Took me a while, because windows couldn't identify the hardware at all. intel driver versions prior to the one i've linked also didn't work :/, yet most links referred to those - i'm guessing for the previous model lappy.

    • So shipping was about three weeks?

      • Will took a month, but I'm pretty sure this want actually released until after I purchased it. I think it was a week before the product came out, they then sent an email saying there may be a delay due to unexpected interest. Then it took 3 weeks.

Stuck might be easier now, so I imaging it would be quicker

        • Wow, look at those spelling mistakes. Shouldn't reply while slowly moving through peak hour traffic.

      • last deal was presale, so take much long, now we have stock in warehouse, can ship in 24 hours, and also we offer free express shipping, normally take 5-8 business day.

    • hi Salmando, need some help

Do you have a version that have a 4G modem, but I don't need separate graphic card?
Is Windows 10 a home version, and is it English?
Does it has a SD reader that can take SDXC?

      Thanks.

      • 4G modem? No. It does have a dedicated graphics card yes - nVidia geforce mx150.

It ships with Windows 10 Home Edition - However it is in single language Chinese. This can be problematic, as simply downloading and changing the language wont give you system wide change. Recommend fresh install of windows 10. If you've owned windows 10 before, it shouldn't be an issue. I believe it may be possible to obtain the license from the chinese version and apply it to english, but can't confirm.

Otherwise, windows 10 is quite simple to register for free if you look around.

  • Fantastic! Just picked one up. Cheers for keeping us up to date OP.

    • glad you like it lol

    • No 4G built in.
Has a dedicated nvidea geforece mx150 graphics card.
Windows 10 Home chinese single language version included.
      No SD reader.

  • Do you have the Mi Notebook Pro? Would love to get the dark grey one!

  • The price seems to have increased to US$765.03. Will the item be back at US$734.42?

    • hi mate, make sure your address is AU, other place won't get this discount

      • Thanks for that! I had it set to USA.

  • Anyone know of a method to legally make this into english version?

  • How does the warranty work?
