    That's me LOL

I picked up one for $19.99 USD delivered. Awesome to play with, trying to use it with the YeeMee Kodi plugin (and struggling) but having lots of fun with it.

I am still waiting for the E27 RGBW ones to come on sale.

Pay in AUD $31.80 on GearBest as their rate is lower than the current USD > AUD rate

  • How bright is this? Can I use it in place of a study desk lamp?

    thanks

  • How it to compare it with Ikea Dioder?

I am looking to use in DYI kids lighting table

Wifi is good option but I more interested in brightness.

    • Those light up more specific spots that show a strip of LEDs.

  • Not working for me. Adding the code the price goes up to $46.

    • Item shows $46, but it actually drops the subtotal to $31.80

      • Not when I apply the coupon "Your subtotal: AU$46.73"

        • Worked fine for me. Item goes up to $46, subtotal drops to $31.80. Assume you're logged in? Maybe try logging out and back in on a different browser.

  • Does it need a hub or anything to work with Google home?

    • Nope you just link your yeelight account I believe

    • Uou dont even need the app - it can use out of the box directly but obviously with the yeelight app you have more options.

  • Hmmmm doesn't look as though this can be piggybacked?

    • +1

No it can't. You can control multiple strips at once via the app however.

  • Ordered, thanks OP. A few dollars more than the last deal, but worth it to get the strip sooner rather than waiting for another $25 deal

  • Got 3 of these recently. Love that you can control from button without phone. Downside is once you go into color mode you can't go back to white unless you use a phone.

  • How are people using these? After suggestions

    • Ive bought 1. Going to put it under the kitchen cabinets. I have Home assistant running as well so may as well integrate them with the sensor in the kitchen to turn on/off automatically on movement

      • I like the idea of that. May I ask what sensor you have?

        • As im a true ozbargainer, most smart home things are quite expensive for me except…….Xiaomi. So all the sensors in my house are Xiaomi (buttons, door/window sensors, PIR's). They're cheap and do the job. The only caveat with Xiaomi sensors are you need to have the gateway as well, which is the bridge to communicate with your wifi. But the whole set up is pretty cheap considering: https://www.gearbest.com/Xiaomi-security-_gear/

        • @jackwoz: thanks. I'm a fan of their gear too. Price +quality+aesthetics=winning

  • This is a little disappointing , since Alexa isnt available yet
