          What setting do you use? I've only had mine 2 days, and I feel like my tooth will shatter at the frequency it seems to be vibrating at on top setting.

          Maybe it just takes a while to get used to it..

          I'm also afraid my girlfriend will use it for less hygienic uses

          @Salmando: 1st setting. Is this your first electronic toothbrush? The bristles should only be barely touching your teeth. Feels like a good dentist clean to me

          @Salmando: If you look at the pictures on the manual, they seem to show that the brush head should be aiming towards your gums, i.e. pointing 45 degrees down at your lower teeth and 45 degrees upwards at your upper teeth. Let the brush head sit for a second or two on each tooth. It is very different to manual brushing.

          Don't forget to brush your gums!
