      • Do you actually buy some of the things you post here?

    • Must be a bug got you there.

    • Is insurance checked?

    • I got the same thing

  • Got one. Ty

  • Thanks OP, this is slightly cheaper than the one I bought from last deal which I haven't received it yet. Anyway, I wish you could post a new deal for "Xiaomi in-Ear Hybrid Earphones Pro".

P.S: Does anyone know if there is a newer Xiaomi earphone coming this year?

  • ordered this a couple of months ago. Never showed up

    • +1

      what date you ordered ?

  • +3

    gotta love them FRESHARSE

    • Same

  • Have had a few orders not show up. I think I'll pass on any Gearbest purchases.

    • +7

Not yet, they can take a good while. It's almost a nice surprise when it finally turns up, and you wonder what it is, having forgotten. Then finding out what it is will remind you when you placed the order, when you were younger.

    • what date you ordered ?

        1. 30/5, 2. 31/8, 3. 6/9, 4.15/9

All future purchases will be put on hold until these show up. I've had stuff ordered from Aliexpress delivered much much faster.

You guys cut Gearbest alot of slack for some reason.

        • +1

I would claim refund for the May order.

  • Keep getting error trying to use paypal. Try on phone get code expired despite not being able to order in the first place. Rubbish!

  • How would you rank these against the other Xiaomi headphones, is there an order from best to worse?

    • I believe these are the second entry level earphones.

Damn I always miss out on this :(

    • don't feel too bad about it. You are not alone. I missed it too :-(

    • I set up an email alert for anything with the word Xiaomi in it.. I no longer miss out 😁

      • +1

        how do you do that?

  • I don't know why this is sold out and hyped all the time? I guess if your looking for budget this is ok? But in saying that, they're similar to the "budget" coles/jbhifi buds which cost $10-20. However they're average to bad. for about $7-8 you could get something ALOT better (i.e. KZ range).

    • I have a pair, really like them, and would like another (though I always miss this deal). I find the fit is good and I like the noise isolation (purely from the snug fit). My budget is super low for earphones because I break/lose them often, and I'm really not that fussed about sound quality - so long as I can hear what words are being said for an audiobook I'm happy.

I'm totally open to getting something "better" for $7-8 though, which particular KZ earphones are you talking about? I really don't know anything about earphones and a quick google can only find me KZ earphones for $24+ (also I don't know if the market is rife with fakes like Xiaomi is and who to get genuines from for $7-8)

      • +1

Totally agree with your assessment of these, my pair was far more comfortable, sounded way better and lasted significantly longer then any of the supermarket earphones I have ever purchased, for $3 the convenience of having backup earphones that I can lose or break is fantastic value.

I read this comment and then did some browsing of the KZ earphones, ended up purchasing the KZ KS3 for $10 from the same place. Most of the KZ range seems to be well reviewed and they should last a fairly long time due to having a detachable cable (preventing breakages/fixable). For $8 there is also the KZ ATR or KZ ATE they also seem well reviewed but lack the detachable cable.

Obviously I have no idea if they will send me a fake, or whether the audio quality is better then the Xiaomi.

        • Wow, thanks for your research! The detachable cable seems great for me (I am careless of my earphones, just stuff them straight into my backpack, and invariably bend the wire at the plug end and the earphone end. I know it's my fault, but I'm happy to buy dirt cheap earphones and replace them every year).

I may check out these KS3 (ZS3?) too, cheap enough and worth a gamble on the detachable cable.
So long as audio quality lets me hear what words the narrator is saying I'm fine! (I once bought $8 cheapie emergency-replacement earphones from KMart and while I could hear the narrator, I couldn't distinguish a single word they were saying, it was so fuzzy. Got the Pistons next, very happy.)

Gearbest has been selling counterfeit Xiaomi headphones. There's been talk about it on r/Xiaomi and r/headphones

I'd like to hear from people when they eventually get these if they are fake or not.

    • -1

      Must be true then.

      • Are you saying dismissively 'just because its reddit oh it must be true' or do you actually believe gb are selling fakes?

        • If it's on reddit it must be r/true
          /s

        • @nocure: gearbest would never sell fakes right?

      • +5

        Don't be like that.

I said I wanted to hear back from the people here. I didn't say beware or don't buy them.

I'm not even in the market for headphones. I just wanted to find out.

EDIT: wrote here instead of hear

    • I ordered 2 x HD Pro Xiaomi headphones last month and checked after seeing the post about the fakes - sure enough mine have all the same properties of the fakes that have been circling… I've contacted Sunny on here and she's looking into it for me (expecting a refund obviously)

  • has anyone's order shipped yet? Mine is still being packed…
