If you feel ever so inclined, you can also neg the deal, it's clear that you dislike this behaviour.

People make their own decisions and from what I've noticed usually just leave it unvoted if they don't like the deal, can't speak for anyone though. Deals like this are where people really neg, because it tends to change the behaviour of the business as it's just one business running the deal.

  • Any Good Deals on a Modem /router for NBN with VOIP & USB

help a noob out - how do you text search using the link in the description?

As soon as I put search terms and press search it clears the filtered sellers

    • +1

Try on desktop. Or just click the Deal button and there's a search box on ebay's landing page.

  • I was too late buying an iPhone 8 Plus, cos they jacked all of their prices. I guess I'll wait until the next sale.

    • +1

We never gonna be quicker than they jacked the price

  • Ausluck is at it again - Price higher than Apple Store!!

    Ausluck - $289
    Apple Store - $249

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/APPLE-TV-32GB-4K-1080p-LATEST-20…

    • No… you're just bad at Maths.

      Ausluck - $289 - 20% = $231.20

Price is lower than Apple Store!! DOH.

      • I was talking about Ausluck original price before discount. Why is it higher than RRP?

  • Here we go again!

  • Hi, does anyone know where can I buy 64 gb SD Card sandisk extremepro? The prices are less than $50 but I reckon those are not genuine. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks this is for my nikon d7200

    • Funny you should ask that…

      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SanDisk-64GB-Extreme-Pro-SD-SDXC-…

Can confirm I received a genuine one. Packaging was spot on, the quality of print on the label on the sd card was there. Read/Write 90mb/s. I also tested it against my non 'V30' card of the same flavour and the speeds were the same.

      • Did you test it with H2testw? That's the only way to be certain

  • +1

Of course now prices are jacking up… lots of iPhone 8’s seem to be around 1,500. Complete bs

  • I thought now might be the time to buy another HDD for my media server. I haven't bought one in at least a couple of years.

Was expecting a 4TB for maybe ~$130 but it seems they are like $200! Have HDD prices gone nuts or am I imagining things?

  • +5

What a joke of a sale, nothin but a price hike with the ebay 20% off sale bs. All the sellers should be ashamed of themselves and more yet eBay themselves.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Viewsonic-43-IPS-LED-3840x2160-4…

    $899 in most stores - https://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=VX4380-4K&spos…

  • Damn code doesnt work for me, tried with a couple of sellers.

  • Code is completely useless now, I have been looking for PC parts for a new build and nearly every price is hiked up.

    • +1

ive looked around for PC parts with the 20% off ebay sales now for the past 2 years.. they are always like around 2% cheaper AFTER discount then the cheapest price on static ice from a PC store that doesn't have a sale. :) And some things are 0% cheaper.. :) every now and then you get a CPU or Monitor that give you the full 20% discount but they are the deals that stores didnt get around to pricing hiking yet.

    • I'm in the same boat. Planning out a Ryzen build and it hasn't actually gotten cheaper. I found a few dollars off from the CPU, but that's about it.

      Bit of a shame really.

My experience over time has been pretty much the same with @vid_ghost.

  • +2

As well as the blatant price hikes, the ebay search results filter is just terrible. I think it's the sellers manipulating their listing so more of their results appear even when you try and filter it down. Ridiculous.
edit: and another thing, those ridiculous listings that combine multiple variations of a product into a single listing with different pricing so it's impossible to tell the price of the item you're after until you click into it and narrow it down. F**k ebay!!

    • bargain_oz ??? Odd that they still have Note 4 and S5s…

  • +3

not cheaper. Prices have gone up. I can get an edgerouter x for around $81 to $84 locally at reputable B&M stores. Ebay prices are $99 -20%. Not worth the hassle. I have seen price drops after a few days with these deals as if they price hike they probably lose sales. I keep looking every few days.

    • This is why people should use their brains.

Buy at the lowest price, simple.

  • is this a good deal?? asus nividia gtx 1060 6gb - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Asus-nVidia-GeForce-GTX-1060-Dual… for $367. only around about $91 less from rrp.

  • +4

I received my surface pro already!!!! Thinkofus.store is the best

    • +2

Thanks for the feedback mate.. Waiting for my iphone 7 256 from them. got it for $816.

  • +1

Finally got decent prices on my system build…thanks OP!

  • +2

When did CR reduce the rate to 1%? Pricepal is still 1.25% though.

  • Anyone having issues with the code? says cannot be applied.

    • Worked for me last night 10:07pm AEDT

      • Yeah, it's all good. Didn't realize that the code only works with Aus eBay accounts.

  • anyone bought a phone from bargain_oz before? good?

  • No price jacking at umart, but damn, $27 delivery on a CPU cooler kills any deal.

    • +1

UMart are being incredibly shifty…they have jacked up postage on everything to stupid levels so their headline prices appear low…

      • Incredibly simple to solve this non-problem - change your default Search sort order from "Best Match" to "Lowest including postage". DONE.

    • Surely this is against eBay's terms?
In fact I'm sure it is, used to be a tactic many sellers used to save on ebay fees back in the day.

  • I know this deal expired yesterday but I was looking at the following post and still has listed PLUG20 even though it says it expires 23rd

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Western-Digital-WD-Red-8TB-3-5-SA…

  • jwcomau just un-price jacked some stuff. FFS.
