    • sure thats not mighty ape? thats a nz store, higher rrp

      • It was Shopmonk (forgot to mention that).

Mighty Ape don't even have the console.

  • And no one bothered to report illegal price jacking or a lawsuit once again.

  • +1

    It’s 10am. Buy buy buy!!

  • Poor eBay is throwing 502 errors, when trying to search over available stores! :D :D

  • I came here for the price jack comments :O

  • Any GTX 1070 deals??

  • I see some sites listed do not show the 20% off. Will it allow the discount coupon at checkout still?

    For example:
    Think-Of-US
This one is broken or is it not the same store?
    thinkofus

unless there's some funny business going on….

  • +3

Bought an iPhone 8 256gb from my-phonez. $1079! Can’t get any cheaper than that for Aussie stock!

    • Have you got your phone? I emailed them for a few times and they always said we will update your tracking number soon. I presume they have’t send it yet.

      • Not yet, but it was shipped the day I placed my order. It’s coming to me on Monday according to tracking info on Auspost. They sent mine via express, but I live in rural…it would have been here already otherwise.

  • Nice. Got a Galax GTX 1080 exoc snpr for $615 delivered minus whatever cashrewards saves me. Dirt cheap.

Would post a link but I got the last one in stock from Austin Computers :P There might be different models so get searching.

  • I wonder if ebay is worried about amazon coming hence the weekly 20% off deals…

    • +2

What I/we really want is a 20% off sitewide and we'll go to town on Ebay.

Better still if it was more than 20%. Then Ebay will really make it hard for Amazon

      • Yeah I am waiting for Sitewide 20% off too…

        • How often do sitewide deals come around?
Obviously they had one for the eBay birthday, but other than that do they have other ones?

    • Just marketing, prices up around 15%, save 5%.

      • Don't matter none, a lot of the stuff I'm getting is from the US :) I havent noticed any US Ebay price jacking that coincided with Au promotions

        • Where do you get US EBay coupon codes from? I have tried to search but can't seem to find any….

        • @kiwiinoz:

Sorry, my bad - I mean items listed on AU Ebay by US Ebay sellers.

        • @X3: Oh…so you buy only when Ebay has sales on all of ebay.com.au not just selected stores…that makes sense…

        • +1

          @kiwiinoz:

Stuff I don't mind waiting for, yeah for sure, I'll try to wait.

The number of times I've gone all "HuLk SmAsH!" when I bought something then some frickin voucher comes out… man that is the worst.

  • Mymobile keep price hiking too. Then when you message them to give you the original ebay price they tell you they can't do it. Then shortly once sale they bring it back down…

  • good price Iphone 8 plus
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/322814866460?var=511946863010

    • +1

(profanity) put the prices up just as I was checking out.

    • yeah sorry, the prices jumped up :( go shopmonk

  • Thanks mate…picking up a couple of iPhones for the mother and mother in law.

Do you think this is a good deal? (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-S2-8-0-2016-T7…)

    • Yes, for a brand new $430 is a good deal ATM.

  • +1

        http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/APPLE-IPHONE-8-PLUS-64GB-256GB-Go…

        • Have you got your phone? I emailed them for a few times and they always said we will update your tracking number soon. I presume they have’t send it yet.

        • @Kaig:
          Yep, arrived yesterday.

        • @Danthemanz: Thanks for that. Did you receive any email&tracking number from them before you got it?

        • @Kaig:
Yep. I paid for express to post though . Was like $5

  • Had an iPhone 8 Plus 256gb in my cart from my-phonez. Was $1469 before discount and they have just jacked the price up to $1669

    • +1

I got the old price for the 64GB at 10am, wasnt even in my cart.
Ive heard that if you buy it before and dont pay you can still get away with it, never had the balls to try….

  • Guys any good on iPad 9.7m

  • UniFi AC HD for $399.20

  • Really need an LG G6 (girlfriends G3 finally died, non-bootloop btw).

Seems not as competitively priced as a month or so back… :(

  • +1

some sellers not jacking up their prices but adding $25 shipping instead. still not worth it

    • +1

Defacto jacking then basically. Smh smh

  • I Just bought a HP Spectre x360, i7, 8GB, 256SSD for $1440.

Yesterday afternoon before I knew there'd be an ebay sale, the cheapest price on StaticICE was 1800, and I was going to price match at Officeworks down to 1650 or so, so I got a good deal.

    • Which shop?

        • I was considering getting this as well, but is this the 2017 model or the 2016 model? It was hard to work out…

        • @zeusbala:
Pretty sure the "7500U" refers to the generation - 7th generation processor, which is the most recent; they have announced a 8th generation processor, although not sure if products released.

  • Was hoping to grab a deal on the updated Sony WH-1000XM2, but looks like most retailers just want to get rid of their old 1000X stock first.

  • Any good android TV box?

  • +2

    Shame wireless1_eshop isn't in the list. :(

  • Any decent desktop gaming PC's going? Looking for under 2K

  • Giff. Vive. Plx

    • $1200 before 20% discount.

      • Yeah plenty at that price. Comes to $960. No deal when I can go to my local HN and pick one up for $999

  • Hmm none of them selling the Nintendo Switch it seems.

    • I did see one but it was like $560 or something crazy

  • So no good 15' budget-ish laptops under $700?

  • +4

    Beware of iPhone scammers.

This one's piece of work: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Apple-iPhone-6S-Unlocked-A1688-16…

Listed as 'New: Never Used', but with broken touch ID.
Remember touch ID is the one component only Apple can fix, so no idea what else is stuffed in this phone.

  • Has anyone heard of mymobile_store , I am looking to buy Note 8 from them ?

  • Any cheap Apple Airpods deal?

  • I got this Surface Pro i7 8GB 256GB for 1840 when JB Hi Fi are selling it for $2447, and the seller's only (few) negative feedback are about communication, nothing about dodgy products. Feeling good!

    • You got this is 2 days? Thats impressive

      • Yes, ordered around 11am and it arrived in my parcel locker at 9am next morning. They didn't even use express postage. I think I got very lucky

        • +1

          That is certainty a rarity.
          Enjoy the surface :P

  • +1

Need to keep the price jackers employed

  • +3

“My-Phonez” has increased most of their prices!! The iPhone 8 plus 256gb, was $1440 before the 20% sale, now it’s $1669.

  • +2

Waiting for EBay to bring FOREVER20 code for us 😆

  • Can everyone suggest me a reliable web site on the discounted list selling the iphone 6s 32 GB?

  • Any deals on the X1 Carbon?

  • Anyone know of any good 65 inch tv deals?

  • No good deals on the Xiaomi Robot Vac either.. Only participants are Shoppingsquare, and they're asking $434 before discount..

  • +1

Bought the iPhone 8 plus for $975 from my-phonez.. and now it seems that they've jacked up their prices.

Feeling bittersweet about letting go of my LG V20.

    • +1

      Hey its me, ur brother

    • Have you got your phone? I emailed them for a few times and they always said we will update your tracking number soon. I presume they have’t send it yet.

      • Hey sorry for the late reply mate, only just saw it.

Hope you got your phone already, mine came in pretty quick.

  • Are my-phonez AU stock for iPhone 8 Plus? Prices are up but still cheaper than buying outright from JB.

edit: saw shopping square has $99 delivery, will avoid them.

    • They’ve increased their prices just letting you know by $150.

      • Yeah I noticed that but they still seem to be about $100 cheaper than JB for outright

  • +2

Just grabbed a Google home for $147.20 from thinkofus. Cheapest price I've seen for local stock.

    • +1

They seem to be good guys, got my surface from them and saw no evidence of price jacking

      • Yes I noticed that their eBay price (before discount) was the same as on their website. Great to see a store not jacking prices. Only ordered around lunchtime today and have already received notification that it will be arriving tomorrow! Very impressed with their service assuming it does arrive as indicated.

  • +1

    https://m.ebay.com.au/itm/Crucial-MX300-Series-1TB-530MB-s-2…

How come this is only 300bucks? Compared to the other sellers offering for 400? Is this legit?

  • Pick this fridge up for $1327 new without boxing.
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LG-668L-Side-by-Side-with-Plumbed…
At least GraysOnline seems to not price jack items.

    • seems like they just did

      AU $1,458.95 1 27-Aug-17 14:43:51 AEST
      AU $1,449.00 1 24-Jul-17 23:20:21 AEST

      Now:
      AU $1,658.95

  • +1

Sadly none of these sellers have hikvision cameras!

  • Anyone have any experience with BuyMobileAU? I'm after a Note 8 Australian stock

  • Damn, no ryda_online

  • Why do these sales get upvoted so high?

So many of the sellers jack their prices up.

A whole lot of people on ozbargain know it. We comment that we know it and we declare that we hate it. And yet its got over 250+ votes.

What does a sale have to do these days to get downvoted?

    • +1

for visibility this way can find something that isn't price hiked then get it price hiked before sale begins :P

    • +2

I think you haven't noticed the multiple posts under the Related Tab, hidden within the risen prices are actual deals, I just posted the code so people could see before the deal went live to try and catch some awesome deals before the prices went up, which quite a few people got.

Not sure about the voting scale however..These sales usually get a downvote or two.

      • I did click the related tab.

13 deals. Not one neg. Go figure.
