I was with boost and signed up to the same deal a couple of weeks ago (for personal use but with $100 gift card instead) and had to port to Optus, then head back into JB to get onto Telstra :)

      • Is that right? I asked about that last time they ran this offer and they said I had to be with a different provider for 3 months before being eligible.

Yeah, JB employee didn't seem to have a problem with it and it all went through the system fine.

Same. Optus Sim activated on the same day.

  • Does this include international minutes?

Very tempting.. but I think I might go with the $30 Optus 15GB + 300 international minutes deal..

    • No international minutes

  • This plan is pretty good, hope they can offer the same as vodafone’s Roaming charge. Otherwise all good

The number entered ( 23 577 965 322) is not a valid ABN. See format of the ABN for more information.

        • I was about to update it to 35 163 261 087 now I can't since your reply :p

        • @justtoreply: I'm confused. Please explain

        • @realfancyman:

If you look up that abn it's GOD PTY LTD

I was also considering using GOD CORPORATION, which is also legit.

        • @justtoreply: What were those other ones?

        • @realfancyman:

Oh, the first was just a random placeholder while I googled the abn for god pty ltd. You shouldn't have seen it but you were too fast to respond

        • @justtoreply: Ah ok.

    • Kevin Rudd is a sole trader

  • If you opt for the Go Mobile Plus plan with ABN (for the $200 voucher) does that mean you won't be moved to a business account but a personal one? As others have mentioned the Telstra business billing platform is a shambles.

    • As far as I can tell I am on a personal account. I sign in the normal personal page with my existing telstra ID. I have two account numbers after I sign in, one for my home internet and one for the Go Mobile Plus. I have access to Apple Music and AFL/NRL/Netball.

  • I have actually just join Telstra 12 months plan. $39gb with 15gb.
Just chat with them and they gave it.

  • When does this expire ?

    • When its hit the expiry date :)

  • So, I signed up for the $30 Optus deal, and now I've seen this and want to do this instead. I got the SIM card in the post from Optus yesterday, but I haven't activated or ported or done anything yet. Am I stuck with Optus? Or can I just ignore Optus and go with Telstra?

    • if it was a 12 month plan, credit check should have been already done i guess.

    • Try asking live chat if you can cancel it first, I was able to cancel but they haven't sent out the sim yet.

    • Maybe say network is shit, want to cancel? Surely they have something in the contract.

  • when we had last run of telstra plans, what was the best offer all signedup for?

i had a chat with online rep today and was offered

    25GB
    Foxtel now
Unlimited International calling for slected countries

    for 69$

    is it any good???

  • Would've sign up to this if I did not just join Optus.. sigh.

  • Woo, cheers! $30 less a month, 3x the data.

  • apparently went on 19/10, the staff of Jb Hifi cockburn didn't know anything about it..said it's just a weekend thing ..so gonna try again tomorrow

  • Great deal, will have to take a look

  • I'm guessing this is expired based on the photo attached?

Didn't get a chance to jump on it on the weekend.

  • I called JB today, the sim deal is still available - just without the gift card. It's still a great deal! And with Telstra too!

  • I switched from optus to telstra… I have to say I thought the network would be alot better. In my personal experince I was getting better reception in melbourne with optus.

  • is this still active ?

    • You can get the plan. But not the $200 card

      • This is still active, but ends after close of business today. I'm in Sydney CBD and just signed up for it and got my $200 gift card with that exact plan.

EDIT: I would also like to add that I signed up for this as an individual not under a business ABN.
