It's not a problem, I was just posting it so others could see it quickly :)

  • Great deal, just purchased one with a glue gun

Does it have an aussie plug on it?

    • Yes I believe it does.

Don't worry jump on it and think later

  • Pardon the ignorance about Dremel but what are the garden and lawn attachments for the rotary tool? That is what do they do?

I have pictures in my mind of using that tool to do a lawn edge or cut a branch from a shrub!!! Something to do if you have a whole day spare of course. The Dremel site doesn’t seem to explain either.

    • Yeah naah I don't think you will be doing your lawn edges with a dremel. Or you might if you already cut your lawn with nail scissors!

      • Indeed - I don’t think pride in my garden extends quite that far.

I can only assume it is for sharpening tools like the edge of a spade or a mower blade???

        • If in the garden context then yes, it can be used sharpen blades.

        • I think this tool would be a bit light-on even for that. I would be using a proper bench grinder for sharpening garden tools, or an angle grinder as a bit of a bodge. I couldn't find anything about these gardening attachments and pictures of the package contents don't give any clues either.

        • Yes it is a tool sharpener based on what I can gather.

        • @mrderrickc: Very helpful, thank you for adding this.

Didnt go deep in research but researched a teeny bit nonetheless - this seems like a good price, and as such….. Bought!

I pity all my possessions that are abt to get tattooed….

  • Thank you. On this now!

  • OP can you please confirm if it will really take 7 - 10 days before it is posted?

    • I’m hoping we will start dispatching Wednesday or Thursday. You will receive an email if you ave purchased one as soon as it’s gone out but we are playing it safe as some variables are out of our control.

  • Not sure if this is allowed but you can get an extra 10% off using referral. I don't get anything from it. ( just the same discount off next purchase)

Seems I cannot share, so to save a few dollars if you are buying the glue gun and dremel separate purchase, buy glue gun first and use your own referral link to get discount code to buy the dremel at 10% less.

    • Nice tip!

No more expensive trips to the dentist for my family.

  • If anyone in Perth wants to split, I want the engraver. I might take the soldering iron and garden tool sharpeners if needed, not fussed either way on those.

  • Any update on when orders will be sent out? Still waiting..

    • Hi per the listing, we advised you would need to allow 7-10 day for despatch. We anticipate they will be sent out early this week.

  • I forgot to disconnect my VPN when I ordered and ended up getting an email from Boxlot requesting re-confirmation - check ur emails if anyone did the same.

    • Hi we get a few of these flagged by the system and unless we verify we run the risk of chargebacks for those orders that are genuinely fraudulent. Thanks for raising it, simply replying and verifying the order gives us the confidence to go ahead and fulfill.

  • Hey guys, really happy to have received my Dremel kit and can't wait to use it. I noticed that the ad says the kit comes with the garden tool sharpener but the kit doesn't seem to have one. Look forward to your response. Geoff

    • Hi Geoff
Can you please send a photo of what you received to [email protected] and we will look into this for you.

  • Actually this kinda made me actually open the box - had a look at the middle, silver box.

Is there supposed to be an empty slot on the top left of the box? There's like 5 'bits' and one empty slot.

    • I’ll look into this tomorrow. Will try and get some good photos and a total count of what’s inside for comparison.

      • Thanks Wakko

  • I'm a little confused. The listing here says it comes with the dremel 200, but the actual listing on the site says it is the dremel 3000, and the image shows that as well. Which is it?

    • Hi Gmetal, some confusion all round. We have had to refer back to supplier as the product we ordered is different to what was received. Our original listing was based on product description and code provided. We've now amended our listing based on what we have received, but we are working through the difference with our supplier. For anyone who has already purchased - we will be providing an update as soon as we have a resolution.

In the meantime, if you haven't yet made a purchase, please refer to the description on the BoxLots website as to what you will receive should you decide to place an order as of today.

      • ok cool, buying based of the fact it is a 3000. Thanks!

Thanks @Wakko, checkout was simple - looking forward to receiving the kit!
