Just bought one of these laptops, runs very quick and has great build quality. Note this model includes the IPS display. Here is a helpful YouTube review..

      They seem to all have disappeared, though.

      I remember there were quite a few of such deals end of last year and early this year, but the past half a year they all start at ~$2.2k

      Wonder if the mining craze hit laptop OEMs too

      This computer is very decent, but note it doesn't come with Windows so if you need it you'll have to pay $1,944.

    When the new model with the 1060 is at that price instead of over $2k, I will pounce.

      Could be a while till it gets down to this price, the equivalent model with i7-7700HQ processor and 16GB RAM is retailing at $2,499. It is down to $2,124 with 15% off code at the moment though.

      The other model with i5-7300HQ processor and 8GB RAM (and no 1TB HDD) is $1,999 down to $1,699 with 15% off, but obviously the specs are a lot lower.

      These 1060 models also have a worse battery for some reason, only 56 Whr.
