    Don't go see Robin Williams because you like his movies. He is filthy and vulgar in his stand up (in my experience).

    I'm not against filthy and vulgar… but only in moderation. His stand up is not funny based on what I have seen.

      His stand-up is extremely funny IMO. I don't think anybody would really fork out the 75 buck just based on enjoying his movies.

    I went to see the Friday show in Brisbane and it was fantastic…. He was vulgar, insightful, extremely quick witted and very versatile. At one point he had what he deemed a "brain fart" and I believe genuinely forgot where he was up to in the show. Obviously he was fine tuning his work to suit the Australian audience and for example discovering the fact we really do not care about baseball…. A true comedic genius. I reckon I got my monies worth from the Umbilical Brothers (the warm up act) before Robin Williams even hit the stage. If you've got a spare 75 bucks invest it in yourself and have a good laugh out.

      I second everything TonyH said above…. Friday night show in Brisbane was fantastic. Was a packed house, well worth the $ and the drive from the Gold Coast for a great night of quality laughs.
