Nice price, but let down somewhat by lack of FHD screen IMHO

    • Lack of FHD isn't too big a deal for a 14inch screen. Better for battery life with NON-FHD too.

    • If it's a "spends most of its time plugged into a monitor" type laptop it's not a problem. I know that kind of defeats the purpose of a laptop but that's typically how I use my laptop, even though it has a FHD screen (I have a monitor at work and at home).

  • Description says does not ship to Australia

I've already purchased one shipping to Brisbane. Make sure you choose Amazon as the seller.

Very nice deal for anyone looking for a budget laptop.

8gb RAM, SSD and WIN10PRO are all big pluses.

    • +3

Yep, normally with the cheapie laptops to get decent speed and performance you have to double the RAM and add a small SSD - but this one is ready to go!

  • HP Probook 14” (1366 X 768)

    yeah nah

this has optional 900p or 1,080p screens, you want those

    Weight 1.8kg.

You can still place an order though.

  • Refurbished? I feel a bit uncomfortable.

    • it says it doesnt ship here anyway

but yeah, i'm not willing to game $330 on an import refurb

  • Great gaming systems with the help of a external gpu

    • ?

      • External GPU bracket.

        • just googled, seems a bit of an overkill IMO

  • Just tried, order is going through. How does this rate with asus ux32a.

  • Wow cheap, I await my cancelation email :)

    • I'd say it's a normal-ish price so wouldn't expect them to cancel. I'm waiting for a slightly better deal (FHD & cpu+)

      • And that will be double the price….

I just want to use it hooked up to my monitor and to use it as my main PC to save power instead of using the gaming pc all the time so I don't care about the screen.

        • yeah there seems to be quite a jump atm.

I tried doing what you're suggesting here, IMO it's not worth the hassle of keep changing when you want to game/browse etc. I just kept my gaming rig and changed the power settings.

  • In saying that i'm still wondering if it was worth it… I just wanted something to browse the interweb and check emails without a huge slow stutter like the Chuwi Hi 10 pro that I have does.

  • Despite being released about 4 years ago, the processor still looks very decent!

  • Mines Coming up in Cart as Us$259 = AUD $351.99 with Amazon Conversion? or is the trick to pay in USD. i have the 28 degrees card
    Thanks

    • Based on current exchange rate on xe.com USD$259 = AUD $337 it will definitely be cheaper if you pay in USD via 28 degrees card.

      • Much appreciated.

  • Hey anyone here? I see by the reviews coming in that the laptop is a bit crap and as my order is still sitting there should I cancel it?

This is going to cost me $362+ if i get one.

    I canceled it.
