Haha yeah i hate to agree with you on this one. While mobile wasn't doing anything great, ALL users of my apps were on mobile.

Why download 8zip on the desktop which is a bit gimped, when you can download proper 7zip???

AWESOME DEAL! Metro Commander Pro is a damn good browser for a touchscreen tablet like my Tabpro S. I used the trial but couldn't bring myself to pay $15 for it.

  • They should be sued for calling it 8zip.

I refuse to have anything to do with this company.

I usually feel that way about anything sold with an i in front of it. If it ain't Apple, it shouldn't have an i, and I'll never buy that brand.

… If it is Apple, I'll never buy it either, but that's more to do with not feeling ripped off

I agree with you, but 8zip is way worse. 8zip implies it's the successor to 7zip. Therefore using 7zips reputation to build their own customer base. Each 8zip customer totally cannibalises a 7zip customer (although 7zip is free, the point is that 8zip is not)

With the i thing, it never looks like a successor/replacement, just part of the same ecosystem. The purchaser will still buy the iphone to use with their igadget.

Having i in front of anything that isn't phone/tablet related is stupid and another matter

        • Steal 他和business不要从热啊提供。。。

          i'mtyping Chinese somehow,,,

          Hang 哦呢,,

Sorry. Steal their business by creating a program called 10zip.. or 9000zip. Doesn't have to do much, you could even just make it a batch file that works with 7-zip.

Then donate the money to 7-zip.
          Or me.

FWIW this deal is not expired - still has 6 days to run

    • Yes it's got 6 days to run but the deal is definitely expired, must've been a pricing error.

Here is what I see right now - https://i.imgur.com/18TcgM2.png

  • Thank you OP, will be using this on my Windows phone.
