  • price on title please.

  • Whats the price?

  • It's in the title, refresh your browser.

  • tks op, pity i was looking for a moto z play deal but found none.

    • Mobileciti had a good price ~$380 from memory the other day when the halloween sale was on, definitely keep your eye on them during the next sale.

      • good find, is it the 32GB version with band 28?

        • +1

Mobileciti is Aus stock, this is the version I was looking at: https://www.mobileciti.com.au/motorola-moto-z-play-white

Also, I've had luck getting price matching at JB HiFi if there is the same model available, obviously wouldn't be able to access sales codes etc.

        • @em:

tks! shame i did not get it at 380, really great phone that ticks all the boxes for me.

        • @Tyler Kwok: yep… I was tempted as I really want the amazing battery life and my 5X almost doesn't last a day anymore.

But I really want something I can hold on to for a while so thinking I'll get something more recent and hope all the flagship phones coming out at the moment will drive prices down haha…

        • @Tyler Kwok: Mobileciti has included it in the $50 off using November50 code, so it's now $377…

        • @em:

          thanks a ton for that!

now im kinda wondering if i should get a moto z + a battery mod… moto z is around 388 for some grey import.

  • Well I ordered the G5 Plus during the last sale and they sent the wrong phone. I had to arrange return and wait some time for the refund. Giving it another try - lets see how this goes. The G5S Plus is about $100 more than the G5 Plus but with larger screen and 32GB.

  • Can't justify an extra $100 (than the G5 plus) for a slightly bigger screen and slightly better camera

Actually, some reviews are saying the dual camera on G5S Plus has more features than G5 Plus, but the actual image quality is worse. I agree $100 extra is not worth it. I can see this dropping to below $300 pretty quick, so I would wait a while.

  • Some reviews say the camera is slow and not that great. I bought a 5 plus for the missus. Very good, fast, nfc and the battery life is great.

  • Out of stock already.

The Good Guys eBay store is a confusing badly linked mess.

  • Looks like the G5 Plus have all gone now. This leaves the G5 or this G5s Plus.

WARNING: On Moto G5s, the [second SIM slot is shared with the microSD card[(https://motorola-global-en-aus.custhelp.com/app/answers/prod…).

I consider this is a major step backwards from previous iterations of G line.
I'm now looking for an alternative for my next phone. Sadly B28, NFC, Dual SIM, dedicated microSD and close to stock Android seems like a rare combination.

Didn't realise this changed from G5 (non-S). I'm using a G5 Plus and it ticks all the boxes you're looking for? Just not the latest and greatest :)

      • I have a G5 Plus and was about to recommend G5s to a friend when I found this out.

  • How is this gonna stack up to Xiaomi Note 4x or Note 5? Similar specs seems overpriced.

    • Xiaomi Redmi Note doesn't have NFC and band 28 so many people still prefer Motos. I'm still waiting for Note 5's announcement.

Scarred for life with Goodguys now. Twice they've stuffed me around when I've ordered through their eBay store. Both was also purchasing phones.
First one had to wait soo long and me chasing them up to actually order it in as they had no stock in store then was sent to the wrong store which I just sucked it up and picked it up anyway.
Secondly was the recent g5 plus sale where again had to wait two weeks for them to order it in only for them to cancel the order and refund me for a total of over 3 weeks of them holding my money and screwing me around.
    Never again.

Edit: both occassions the eBay store said there was still stock available too when I was purchasing

    • next time you can try login on their original non ebay site and check stock availability of items.

AFAIK most TGG are franchises, so maybe your store just happens to be a sucky one :(

Order G5 PLus and other phones and electricals and never had a problem with online order or stock.
