  • So cheap but I have the xenoblade one preordered and I love xeno.

This is a really great controller. Easily the best feeling one in my hands and really quality feel. Battery time is ridiculous too.

    • It has some drawbacks though such as a lack of analog triggers which the GameCube even had way back when. It is a really comfy controller though.

      • What does it matter if the Switch (game) doesn't accept analog input?

        • +1

Which is why it's a shame that the Switch doesn't use analogue input.

That's the other side of the problem. Obviously they didn't/couldn't impliment it in the Joycon and didn't want to create division between the control methods because of the fact that using a single Joycon on its side wouldn't favour having analog triggers on the inside edge of the Joycons. I think the choice of having analog triggers on the Pro for proper racing games would have been great. Now we'll not get a decent racer on Switch.

        • @Where's_That_Cake: It would have been nice to have analog triggers for sure, but they chose buttons instead, probably because they couldn't put them in the joycons.

I don't think they would make a feature available in a pro controller such as analog speed control only in one kind of controller, even if it is "pro".

No analog triggers? That's pretty ironic for a 'pro' controller.
Especially given the Switch accepts GameCube controllers which does have analog triggers.

  • Thanks! Got one. But postage was $8.95 for me in Perth?

Xbox One, it is officially compatible and has analogue triggers (my Pro controller acts weird on PC).
