  • 16GB ? Yeah, I know there is a uSD but lots of apps will not allow you to offload either the app or data. 32 at last I would have thought and a uSD.

    • Thought you could use the sdcard as adoptable storage and it would use it the same as internal storage?

      • Used to be the case, but doesn't work well on most phones, if at all these days.

    • Also don't forget the incredible amount of bloatware Samsung devices have that cannot be deleted, 16GB will disappear real quick.

  • Very good deal. I finally got iPad 128G from last week myer ebay 20%off. I paid $480

you be better off getting a galaxy tab s2, way better tablet…. can pick them up for around the same price.

    • My folks are looking to buy a 10 inch Android tablet just for basic web browsing and sending email on holidays.

They were leaning towards the Galaxy Tab A 16GB for around $250 - would it be worth the extra $150 for the S2 considering what they need it for?

      • I recently upgraded from same tablet to an s2 for my mother, the main pros is the s2 is only 5.6mm thick, it's still one of the slimmest tablets on the market, also the screen is a major upgrade over the galaxy A. If it's only for browsing and emails the A would probably be fine, but depending on what version of the A you get it may have a very low resolution screen which can look pixelated at times and hard to read for people with older eyes.

        • Great - thanks for the reply ;)

        • Not this Tab A. This is the new version - not the old 1024x768 version (this one is 1920x1080, which is great on a 10" screen). This tablet does have some drawbacks like being thicker and heavier than the Tab S2, but makes up for it in (quicker) Processor, The S-Pen, 16:9 screen (watch movies and TV much better) and newer (Should be taken to Android P as the last update).

edit - With 4G too.. lol.. Great deal actually with the Cell connection (usually $100+ more than the WIFI models).

        • @bchliu:
"They were leaning towards the Galaxy Tab A 16GB for around $250" I only referred to the low spec A model as they stated around $250, which is the not the model in this deal.

        • @randolpg: Yeah well.. better to tell kirt to get this one in this thread instead of the $250 older model then. lol.. :)

          @bchliu:

Lol! I'm actually eyeing off the non-4G Tab A full HD model that goes for low $300's on eBay, then waiting for a 20% off deal to bring it down to around $250.

        • @kirt:
same here. unfortunately TGG removed it from their ebay site, otherwise it would be $260 :(

        • @TurnipHead:

Yeah - the best I can find right now is $284 delivered from OW site using code P5OZZIE:

      The Tab S2 doesn't have a stylus.
