  • was just about to post this too! mate its a great price.
The wifi(Non lte) version is also available for 263 after discount which is not the best but still a good deal

    • Yeah i'd buy this if I had the spare money!

      • Strongly thinking. If I could go instore and get it instantly I would buy. I have to go interstate for a meeting and tablet with pen like this would be so good for making notes. But I leave next tuesday so not sure how long ebay deals take to get processed

P.S does anyone have any feed back re editing powerpoints on android tablet.

Wouldn't be doing much editing just minor tweaking probably.

        • If it is in stock then you will get a call for pickup same day. I purchased an item for pickup and got call within 4 hours.

        • @VAA: yep pick up available quickly. ordered 9pm. they called following day 9am.

This is probably a bargain even without Sean Pen.

    • +1

if you don't want S-Pen then you are baying about 120 extra for LTE. Non-LTE version is also on special

      • +1

        Who is LTE?

        • i mean this has sim for mobile internet.

      • +1

So Wifi only doesn't have spen included?

        • correct no pen

      • According to the specs on the Samsung website, the "Wi-fi Only" version doesn't have LTE/sim capability, doesn't support S-Pen and has only 2GB RAM compared to 3GB for the "Plus" model.

This whole Tab A family has USB 2.0 connectivity which makes wonder what the recharge time is like.

  • How is this tab for casual drawings? Does it come with that really small s pen ? Are there alternate bigger pens which we can use with it?

    • it does come with a skinny s-pen. Not sure if a replacement stylus would work the same because I think the s pen communicates with the tablet.

      • There have been some nice aftermarket pens in the past. I had a Wacom carbon fibre one that was nice though a touch too for my sketching. I ended up 3D printing a stylus sleeve that made the included S-pen really nice… but since I tried Apple Pencil I'm addicted and I'm glued to an iPad pro and it's definitely been worth the extra cost. If only an iphone plus could use a pencil for quick sketches.

  • this still runs on Android 6, it will never get 8.0 Oreo

    • +1

It might have received an update by now or one coming but I'm not sure, the specs are what the tab originally started with

    • +4

I have one, it has s been upgraded to 7.0.

    • +1

Samsung usually gives two major updates from the release version making Oreo as the last update for this.

  • Does anyone know when you can pick up if you select click and collect. It says my local store has stock but expected availability is Wed 4 oct. (I'm in sydney so Monday is public holiday)

  • Quick Connect (TV to Tab or Tab to TV)

What? I can watch TV free to air Programs on this tablet?

    • +1

This is what it says but I'm not sure if it would include FTA Content

  • Great price for this awesome tablet.

  • Does this Tab A come with the Wacom tech for stylus?

  • If you guys want to wait a bit, the new 8" model has came out, not sure when Australia will get it though. The specs are somewhat almost as good as the ipad 2017
