  This dashcam is designed for left-hand drive cars. If you put this into your right-hand drive car, you would have to angle the rear view mirror to the right, and since the camera lens is situated on the left hand side, you'll be cutting off a significant portion of your right hand side view, and your original rear view mirror's stem will also block the camera from pivoting fully to the right.

    Yea I have something similar to this, only can record the left half of the windshield .. I used it as a reverse camera

  Is there a way to hard wire this into my car? I would hate to have a cable dangling from the mirror to charge it

    Run the cable across the top of the windscreen and through the front pillar.

      True, but I dont know how to hard wire stuff to the car(I still want to use the cigarette lighter port for other things). Just wondering if this came with instructions on how to do that

        Buy a 12v to usb conveter.
        Something like this

    I do not believe that these can be hardwired as there is a regulator(?) in the cig plug which keeps the power constant. You can however have another cig plug installed in your car, or buy a cig plug splitter if you need to do it that way.
