Not 25W LED according to specs. More like 4W.

    • Click the picture it takes you to another light.
The other light outputs around 1733 lumens using a cree MTG2. They are big leds and can be pushed to 4000 lumens easily. Rated for 2000 lumens by cree I have one in a torch doing 4000 lumens.

      • Looked at that link, seems to be what the deal is referring to.
        What torch is that?

      • I have one in a torch doing 4000 lumens.

        How do you manage that?
I've played with Crees in the past, and unless you had a cryogenic heatsink, their max specs were better than any practical real-world numbers.

Or do you mean it is 4000 lumens for a couple of seconds until the junction hits 150 degrees?

        • It's a custom light built light by me I am using direct drive setup.

Heat sinking is always an issue but most lights run at stock amperage should be okay. You can't expect a key chain light to do 1000 lumens none stop for hours.

Yea run times are not great on this light but it's pushing 10 amps or so. So run times can not sustained for that long by the batteries any way.
These are 6v LEDs. This light advertised may be using the 9v edition but I have never seen the 9v MTG2 for sale.

  • 500m and only 10cm high. What would be a practical application of this light? I was thinking reverse spot lights but my neighbours might sue me after I reverse out of my drive way and blind them.

Maybe I could buy 10 of them and make a bat signal.

    • I'm looking at attaching a pair to my motorbike as spotties
