Sorry for maybe an ignorant question, what is it used for ? Is it for a smart TV or music system ? Is it hard to hook up to either of these ?
Main use is to upgrade the weak speakers on most of the thin UHD tv out there. You can hook it up with a HDMI cable (from the ARC port on your tv). Bluetooth is a additional option to play music from the phone.

I've got this one and it's great for the price, not the strongest bass but the sound is loud enough
