  • +1
  • if anyone sees anything travel related feel free to let me know. I'm after tsa locks, packing cubes etc that sort of thing

  • is the go wild store part of clickfrenzy site? Can i pre-register?

  • So with the terms and conditions where it said maximum one item per household, does that mean we can't go for other deals once we have either the xbox or ipad already?

    • +1

      Yup

      • What's stopping someone creating another account and using a different shipping address?

        • IP address? PayPal account?

  • +1

I had a chrome addon refreshing the page every 2 seconds, caught the banner the moment it appeared and it was sold out in the couple of seconds it took to get to paypal.

No idea how people can do it faster then that but i guess they can.

    • keep ur paypal account logged in another tab, and the clickfrenzy store on another one..

Damn it mistyped the code lol

  • Bugger I had it but my pop up blocker stuffed it!

  • Gone

  • Is it getting faster or just me getting slower?

    • It's insanely fast, i had paypal and everything ready to go, didn't have to type anything except the code and the 2 sec code mistype cost me.

  • myer one is gone…

  • nearly had it!!

  • If all goes well, just got it after missing out on the other ones! :)

  • AGAIN>>>>had it in cart…..then sold out….

  • +2

    GOT ONE!!

  • was too slow typing address :(

  • Lol I blinked and it was gone.

Well, see you all in the morning! :)

  • Missed out by like a second. Paypal was processing payment and then it said out of stock.

    • SAME HERE

  • +1

God dam I swear people have bots and scripts set up to snag them

    • +1

Yes I agree. Isn't that why they have codes now, previous years they didn't.

  • Argh missed again :( Is there another gift card on offer for this competition?

    • Yes another Myer one but $200

      • is it listed where all the hourly deals are?

        • I don't think there is anymore tonight, starts again at 7AM AEDT (going off the e-mails sent out).

  • +1

I haven't even seen the banner. Do you think its selective now?

    • I thought that last year too as I didn't see them then.

    • +2

It's been down the bottom of the page, just above the footer all 3 times. Were you looking down there? Also, if you have an ad blocker on, you won't see it.

    • +1

try turning off your ad block

  • So i wonder what bots they are using to snag these items ?

    • +4

I didn't use a bot and was able to get the Xbox. I have NBN, used a desktop PC (I doubt you would ever be successful using a phone/tablet). I was already logged into paypal and had my address added to the Click Frenzy store account. You just have to refresh every second and as soon as the banner is up memorise the code, click on the banner, click "checkout" (do NOT click on paypal), add the code to the promo spot and click confirm.

      • Same. Logged into PayPal, used a desktop computer. I did not have a Click Frenzy store account, but I have a WPM of 130. For internet, I have cable instead of NBN though haha.

      • sounds like there were more xbox in stock than the ipad or the voucher

    • I didn't use BOT either. I actually got 404 error on first try; had to refresh page twice to get new link. I think some people are getting link before others because by the time I got link for XBOX, people already started posting their experience.

  • I had refreshed the page , clicked the banner . Got 404 , clicked banner again got 404 , clicked again added to cart ( accidentally added 2 in my haste) added the promo code , when to pay and PayPal popped up then auto closed and sold out :(

  • Does anyone know if you can get two different deals on the same account? I got the Xbox and the Myer gift card but just got an email for the Myer gift card after the congratulations one saying "Your order has been cancelled order #xxx-xxx was canceled due to unforeseen circumstances and your payment has been refunded."

    • Had same email. Not sure

    • +1

There will be one Go Wild sale item per household and items are not guaranteed as sold until your purchase is completed.

      From here: https://www.clickfrenzy.com.au/pro-tips.html

      • That'd explain it, cheers crs.

    • Last year they cancelled ALL orders if you won more than one. Hopefully you didn't lose your Xbox.

      • Ouch, hope I still get the Xbox! first time I've gotten anything from Click Frenzy.

      • I won four items last year and they all turned up in the mail…

        • How do you do it man? What's your secret recipe? I have tried for the past 2 years and haven't won anything!

        • +1

@18: Zooming out on the category page as far as you can helped last year, however because you need the promo code this year it's best to just scroll down to the bottom of each page and keep refreshing until the ad appears

It doesn't seem like the ads are going to appear anywhere else on the category pages this year based on the deals released yesterday so I think it's a pretty safe strategy!

      • Not sure why I got negged, just stating what happened. If anyone don't believe me, they can read for themselves in the old thread.

        • Like I said above, I received four items in the mail last year without any issues. The issue last year was to do with accusations of "fraud", not multiple wins.

        • @HoteDoge:
Yes. And if you were involved you'd know that the fraud accusations was purely based on winning more than 1 item on the same account. They had no other "proof" or justification. Can't explain how you got all of yours (unless you had multiple accounts), but many others didn't.

        • @fruxo: I actually only had one account and I can prove that I received every item I won so you’re wrong there.

As for the fraud accusations their main deciding factor for determining whether an order was “fraudulent” or not (they weren’t actually fraudulent, but that’s another discussion…) was actually the purchase date/time compared to the date/time each ad was published on the Click Frenzy site linking to each product. If the purchase time was earlier than the ad reveal time they assumed that those customers had used other means to access the product pages (such as Shopify’s default Collections view).

Spreading false information when you’re just guessing and don’t actually have any facts/evidence to back up your statements doesn’t help anyone.

        • @HoteDoge:
I followed this drama closely and I'm hardly guessing. Call it a strong correlation. But clearly there is no proof either way that anyone outside of the click frenzy crew can provide.

But besides the countless people getting orders cancelled when winning more than one on the same account, I heard no one that lost items when winning multiple items across different accounts. I also heard nothing of anyone losing their price if they used the store page "cheat", but only won 1 item per account (and I know multiple such people IRL).

And when orders got cancelled, it was always every item you've won.

Clearly there must have been some exceptions for winning multiple prizes, but yours is the first I've heard of.

      • Unfortunately fruxo, they've cancelled my Xbox today so I've lost everything. Won't bother using Click Frenzy again.

    • thanks for that, guess theres no point trying for any of the other products.

      • I thought people did so for fun…..

Those fleeting moments of blind panic, and then the disappointment…

Just think of all the fun we will have next year!

  • Click Bait Frenzy

  • Is it too late now? Lol… I've been refreshing for the last 20 mins.

    • +1

Hahahaha you crack me up xD
Lol it was gone 41 minutes before you posted :D

Next one is Google home for $2 6 minutes away - be in Pets.

  • Biggest waste of time - this is a typical example of a once great idea turned into a massive rip off and way for stores to get rid of most of there unwanted excess stock

  • Merged from Clickfrenzy or Clickbait??

So did anyone find any real deals during the clickbait frenzy?

Tell us what great deal you found (if any)

    • +3

$9 door bell and 2 sensors

      • +1

Only good deal to come from it

    • +4

      Click Fail.

    • +3

      Fail as every time

    • +2

Well that depends on who you talk to.
Definitely click bait for me, but if I managed to snag something I certainly wouldn't be complaining ;)

The "deals" that are being advertised aren't awesome however.

    • I bought a pair of Nike's last week, with TA's increased cashrewards at 7%.
Noticed yesterday Nike had 20% off, and 5% cashrewards. Was bummed, approx loss $40, but hey that's life eh…

    • Attempted to get the $4 Xbox, turns out the special banner I was supposed to look at was one halfway down the page instead of up the top and missed it, kind of wasted like 18 minutes just constantly refreshing, but was watching a movie at the time so it wasn't too bad.

Honestly felt more like a "competition" then a deal. Didn't see much else that was any good of a deal (besides the ones similar to the xbox deal). Overall wasted 20 minutes on it and felt dorky refreshing the page constantly. I think the mix of me not getting anything, plus the fact that I work now so have a steady income that I don't really /need/ a deal to buy something makes me more salty over it then anything.

    • Well I did manage to grab an ipad, waiting on it to be approved, so hopefully they don't cancel on me.

      • Nice !!
