not sure if many students can afford to buy this….
if you're a design student, you need this, and it should last you beyond your schooling years. i've had a intuos 2 for about a decade now, its still one of the best investments.

it is a very popular item with graphic design students on our site and we understand it is not cheap. Wacom have recently put their Education prices down so we thought we would do an even bigger deal for those who would like to get their hands on one. :)
thanks Blaze, that is just how it shows up on the site. You are still only paying $344.00, if you look at the subtotal it will say $344.15 plus $9.85 = total $344.00. I think you will find the price is much cheaper than anywhere else online.

I think its pretty cheap for a medium wacom and its an intuos4 too. I ordered a small from amazon ages ago and it was still around $300. (Granted it had all the nibs which I think this doesn't have)
Just as extra info, cheapest I've seen is in citysoftware.com.au at AUD 352 excluding shipping.
Amazon sells this at USD 298.95, but they don't do shipping to Aus, so you need to forward it through another service (adds up another $30+ and extra wait for the shipping time)
IMHO, AUD 344 including shipping is an A+ bargain for this product.educationsoftware rep, if you can somehow sell the normal version at a heavily discounted price like this, I'd get it without 2nd thought (not a student and could use the extras)…

I just called 3 of the bigger JB stores in Sydney. None of them seemed to stock INTUOUS4. They only stock INTUOS3 which is now discontinued. Was that deal for an INTUOS3? Would you have a link? As I mentioned before I can definately look into a deal for the non-educational INTUOUS4.I would definately be interested for a non-educational version too….it's been many moons since I was a student
