  • Amazon has the optical HR model for the same price at the moment…
    https://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Fenix-3-HR-Gray/dp/B01A5HIQ7Q/…

    • shows $AU405.88 delivered to me.

      • +1

Granted. But the $15 extra in delivery for not needing to wear a strap (straps may be better for exercise, but not for day-to-day) and having Amazon as the merchant would be a simple decision for me…

  • How does this compare to forerunner 235

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/340705

Need something for walks and little run.

    • For walks and runs a FR235 is more than sufficient and much cheaper. I managed to get mine for $129 last year (don't hang out for this) and it's been fantastic.

      • wow. How did you get that price as it is over $200 now? Is it worth waiting till Christmas for better price?

        • It was a manufacturer discount with amex rebel deal. There might be a discount around Christmas (I got mine last year at that time), but if Garmin don't have it, then you might have to wait a while.

        • @ihbh: ta

  • Can anyone comment on one of these vs the forerunner 235?

    • see above
