Yes when i was connected to Your Servers Once I Was Told to use open Status (As Nothing Else I tried That Your Support Team Asked Me To Do Helped At All ) On All I Was Leaking And The Servers Shown Where Google From Taiwan And Others.
Tests Showed Up My Location At This Point Using Leak testers And Running Speed Tests Also Confirmed My Normal Address.
Granted My Internet worked But Everyone can see.
Say What You will , However Your Vpn Did Not Perform For Me at All The Way It Should By Just Installing or with Support From Your Staff.
If Does Not Work Then Its Useless To Me.
Others May Not Have AN Issue But i Certainly did.
Using Nord Trial Now Not 1 issue. Used Cyberghost In The Past no issue.
Simply I removed all Other VPN Before using your VPN And nothing but problems connecting and when connected no internet (Most Of The Time).

Edit'd for now, doing some more testing :)

  • Ok got a two year account and tried it, the speed varies from decent to sometimes slow. But I tried to download a test torrent from a well known place, the download didn't even start ! Do you guys choose a different country for torrent download to start ? Can any of you share the settings as a screenshot that you guys are using for torrent to work in it. IF I cant try torrent reliably, might as well refund the damn thing. PIA and Cyberghost both worked beautifully !

I had the same issue with torrents, they wouldnt start from either of the Australian servers. Had to swap to the 'United States- Los Angeles (Asia optimised)' server and got good speeds through there. I'm sure theres a way to get torrents working on the Melbourne server but I cant work it out

      • Thanks for replying mate. Will try that now.

Signed up yesterday for 2 years plus streaming IP, so far very happy- speeds are good and streaming works without a hitch.
Have used PIA, Express VPN and Nord in the past, this is far superior in almost every way.

      But how? Genuinely interested

Primarily speed- the best I had before was Express VPN and this is faster. I didn't run any speed test when using Express VPN but I've been home over the past two days torrenting at different times throughout the day and getting consistent speeds- my connection here is ADSL2 and the drop in speed utilising the VPN is not bad at all- 1.2 Mbps down to about 950kbps-1Mbps (forgive me if i've used the wrong sized 'b' there) on the last movie I was downloading. Have only torrented from US server so I imagine Melb/Syd would be faster

I like this user client the best- simple and easy to use, easier to select a server than some of the others. This is of course personal preference though.

Customer service has been great, submitted two tickets yesterday (one to get my streaming ip, other to organise free router) and both were answered within 15 minutes.

I'd definitely recommend anyone on the fence take up the 7 day money back

        • Thanks sounds like a good option for me, someone thats never used a vpn but is still on the fence about paying for something.

          US netflix worth it?

and did you setup the vpn through your router so all devices are on it?

@abuch47: You can try using free VPN services e.g. Windscribe, they work fine but they are very slow compared to a quality paid VPN like TorGuard.

If you buy this deal and opt for the 2 years with VPN router option: The router comes pre-configured, you plug it into your own router and it broadcasts a different SSID. Then you can connect devices you want on the VPN to that SSID, and other devices you want on the naked internet connect to your existing SSID/Ethernet same as they do now.

You can also just use the TorGuard app on your Windows/Linux/Android devices (I don't have any Apple, I guess it works on those too) when you want them connected to VPN. By using the app on your phone you remain connected to the encrypted VPN when out of range of your wifi.

        • @sav11: Perfect. very in depth response answering all I need to know.

  • Excellent discussion on some of the points. However, I would like to point to this review that I think is reliable and unbiased for anyone wanting to sign up

    https://thatoneprivacysite.net/2016/06/19/torguard-review/

Covers pretty much all the questions raised in the thread and ones that haven't been raised as yet but may be helpful in making a decision before signing up with them.

I am neither affiliated with the website on which the review is posted nor Torguard VPN. Just trying to make everyone aware of the buyer beware clause that always exists :)

    Cheers

FWIW my speeds on torguard and off torguard from 5 mins ago: https://puu.sh/ykfKQ.png

  • What if we don't want the router? Any further discount possible?

  • Can I connect my AppleTV (3) to the mini router and then the mini router to my ISP router? So I can stream Netflix from USA on my Apple TV? I ordered the dedicated IP

  • Instead of a proxy for torrents, one can replace that by using this VPN service ?
