Lots of people don't like in ear units (myself included). Lots of people also don't trust brands they don't have much experience with or have never heard of.

      • but aren't the Apple Earpods in the ear as well?

        • +1

They are, but there's minimal pressure, compared to the linked solution bove.

        • @malouphix: Seems like there is a lot of pressure from Apple to buy these, and (peer) pressure to "Keep up with the Joneses"

That aside. These look like the bog standard headphones that come in the box with every android phone.

I misread this as Airpods and got excited for a second!

    • Me too.

    • Same here

I nearly premature purchased with excitement.

  • Are these 3.5mm or lightning?

    • -2

      They come in lightning??

Mod: Changed ! to ? for clarity

      • Thank you!

        • -3

Dude I'm not answering your question. I've got exclamation marks at the end. It was a bit unfortunate composition.

      • Are you sure they come in lightning? nothing is mentioned on the site, i'd suspect it is 3.5mm. Since it lists these below:
iPod Nano (4th gen), 2.0.1 for iPod Classic (128gb) and 2.2 or later for iPod Touch (2nd gen)

        • I was just exclaiming that earpods also come in lightning as it was new information for me. Wasn't answering heyimu's question. Wish I could edit my comment.

        • @johl:

Fixed. Please use the report link in future.

    • Defs 3.5mm as they also have the lightning version for 29.95 on the Groupon website.

I got one of these last week and what I think is they are not genuine,I compared them with the stock one. But they sound like the original. So I really dont know

    • -1

Well since the "originals" are likely re-branded $2 Chinese in-ear headphones then I'd expect the quality WOULD be the same.

  • If you buy from this mob on eBay using the PREZZY code you can get the lightning version for $23.60 free postage. I just bought something else off them on Tuesday and they delivered next day (they are Brizzy based though).

  • have these earpods. got given them by apple store so know they aren't fake. worse earphones ever! so uncomfortable.

    • Yep they are total sh*t.

I have bought quite a range of earphones over the years and these are basically the only ones that don’t give a little thumping sound each step I take, and I can’t stand tightly sealed earphones. My anecdote doesn’t invalidate yours, but still. Usage varys between people. You see a lot about, so they must be OK for most.

  • Saw these on Kogan for 2 for $45 but if you just want one then this is a good deal
