  • does xiaomi have usb c version of this thing? like 2 usb-c port only?

  • +6

Do a deal on the 20,000 mAh version.

  • +2

    yes please
    "Deal on 20,000 mAh version"

  • Thanks OP these will make great projectiles for my miniature trebuchet

  • +6

As I'm sure everyone knows by now, wait for Gearbest coupons, usually below $20. Got mine for ~$19 (incl priority delivery) last week!

    • +5

yup, right now with coupon POWE11065, you can get it for ~$AU20.60 inc Priority line shipping. Was previously as low as $18.70 delivered.

      • +1

$5 more sent from sydney, im sure someone prefer this.
disclosure: i bought mine long time ago from banggood

        • The one from Gearbest also from local, they will first ship a big lot here and deliver locally to us.

So it will take long than this deal.

        • @superforever: this MAYBE already arrived in Australia, sitting at shopping square warehouse. Again, maybe. But yeah as you see I bought grey because I don't mind waiting.

        • @dragonindespair:

Yeah they said they have 300pcs locally here ready to be shipped but if they sold out the 300pcs it will come from HK.

Deal on the Xiaomi 10000mAh Pro QC3.0 Quick Charge Type-C Power Bank please

    • remind me if there's a big difference between 2 and 3? I thought it wasn't a big advancement in technology. I have this particular model, and it charged my Xiaomi and Samsung phones not slower than their 'quick' wall chargers supplied.

      • It's not a comparison between quick wall chargers..
You have to compare between non-QC battery packs and QC battery packs with a compatible QC phone

        • +1

yeah, and?.. all I am saying is I have this exact model with QC 2.0, and it charges both QC compatible Xiaomi Mi Max at the same speed the supplied QC charger does, and it charges Samsung A5 which is Fast Charge capable, with the same speed as Samsung Fast Charge charger does. What I am asking is why would you want the QC 3.0 power bank, if advancement of 3.0 is minimal compared to 2.0? just buy this one and be happy.

        • @kasaresj: Yes I read somewhere the jump from 2 to 3 is not as significant than from 1 to 2.

I'm sure you can google it easily.

        • @kasaresj:
Oh sorry.. I thought you asked a genuine question. Was just trying to help.
I'm happy to pay more for the QC3.0. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

        • +1

@wikiwiki: the fault is all mine, mistaken yous for a genuine answer :) happy with what I've got (and what OP is offering), and outta here (:

    • +1

      Wouldn't mind seeing that 14AU$ price again :) https://www.gearbest.com/power-banks/pp_343014.html?wid=21

  • can someone please explain the mAh ? how many times over will 10,000 charge a samsung galaxy 7?

    • +2

Expect roughly 2 charges and change. The galaxy S7 has a 11.55Wh battery and this has 38.5Wh but I don't know if it fully drains.

      • probably closer to two and a little bit - the minor thing when they calculate numbers is this has a 3.7v lipo that needs to be boosted to 5v (or higher for QC), and that looses some capacity.

        • I think Fiximol statement above with the Watt Hours is more correct for calculating the charges vs capacity of battery bank and probably on the money on when it cuts out charging as no LiPo or LiIon wants to go below a certain voltage so it can recover.

The Wh takes into account both Amp Hours and Voltage (mAh)*(V)/1000 = (Wh)

  • Anyone know the weight of these? Can't see it and I'm looking for something light around ~200g

  • +9

seriously i want to see xiaomi store in sydney. run by xiaomi, full of xiaomi products, just like microsoft and apple. they are ready!

    • +2

I don't think it will happen anytime soon. If they did, they get sued for all the (mostly phone) patent by AppleSung.

    • +2

Agree, I just got back from Hong Kong, visited one of the Xiaomi flagships stores there. It was great to see and hold their full range in the one place. I bought one of these from the store.

      • +2

and how much over there converted to AUD?

        • +3

          $99HK= $16.50AUD

        • +2

they are very cheap in China. 80ish RMB = 16ish $ AUD

  • These things are never really actually the Mah quantity they state are they? And secondly, why is that?

  • Is it not easier to type 10A rather than 10,000mA??

    • +5

Easier to type but discounts the precision Chinese engineering of 10.000Ah

  • It has synchronous charging but is that QC 2.0 for both input and output? I heard that it's only 10W or 5v, 2 amps.

  • i need this for Nintendo switch? will this charge while i play? or should i get 20000mah or more? or what do you fine people recommend?

    • +1

No I don't think so. You need a USB C one with PD.

      • thanks mate just bought one! $66 delivered! was looking for a good one. people seem really happy with it. its got super charge and all the good stuff.
        thanks again!

        • No worries, but surprised you didn't even wait for a deal?!

        • Dude!

          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/341609

Maybe you can contact them or the rep here me get the deal price?!

Or cancel and re order if it hasn't been shipped out yet?

        • @John Kimble:
It was on sale? it said 46% off?
          I was happy paying $66au
Everytime i tried putting in a coupon code i found. price went upto $116au?
Also when i went on ebay and other sites it was over $100au delivered.

        • @John Kimble:
i would of missed this anyway sorry. Kind of happy i did :)
          But $66 seemed super cheap?
But the item shipped out within like 5 to 6 hrs of purchasing it :)

        • @CHIEFMEGADETH: I guess it's only about $10 difference

  • Is this one of the cheapest price based on past deals and
Does it charge the iPhone 7 well?

  • Got mine today - what a nice bit of kit! Great :)
