    Thanks for adding the extra codes in. Just bought one of each (Fan, USB Light & Yeelight) just a sec ago. Codes worked for me. Didn't bother with the Dafang Camera.

          You can make it spin around but it's laggy spin through internet work ok if you spin in WIFI mode. The video quality is ok. The video quality comparison is Xiaoyi 1080p>dafang=xiaofang.

    Does anyone know if it possible to use this without wifi connectivity?
    Can I save video straight to a file on a USB device and then just copy the files from the device to analyse?

    I would prefer not to install the app on my phone or have the footage sent anywhere out of my control.

      You need wifi but it does support wifi direct (point to point).

    anyone got issues getting this work?.I just can make it recongised on my app. Am I doing it right.?

    I have downloaded mi home app on my android and got registered.
    Powered the cam on, started the app and selected the security cam.The app asked me to put the wifi password… Pressed reset button on the cam- heard some Chinese, scanned the code i was on the app using the camera, again heard something in Chinese (WTF- cant the just give something in English) .
    after that , i hit next on the app, its says wait for a min—-scanning then cant find the stuff…
    what am i doing wrong.
    checked my router its 5ghz.

      From the product description:

      Kindly reminder: this Xiaomi defang IP Camera can only use the 2.4G network, can not use the 5G network. To open the positioning authorities of "Mi Home" APP and mobile phone GPS, you need to choose the server of mainland China.

      Not many of the XM cameras support 5G but one of them is the Mijia 1080p camera model.
