Normally sold for $2.25, or $2/$1.50 on special. $1.12 is half price :D

The amount of times I've gone to buy a chobani tub/pouch before releasing they are on special for $2, or $1.50.. Call me weird for not paying 38 cents more than I normally would but that's me!

    Great deal 10 for $10!

These yogurts have 45% or 60% of a male's or female's sugar daily intake per serve.

15.5g (4 table spoons) of sugar per serve.

    • Agree with that - but at the same time it’s that fruit additives that also contribute

But these are on special frequently - but there’s no one I would touch one with the sugar carbs

The non-plain ones are triple that amount.

If you can eat the plain yogurt without added sugar, its great.
But if you need to add sugar or get the fruit ones, my comment still stands.

A banana has 12g of sugar for comparison.

It also has a lot more fibre which allows that sugar to be absorbed more slowly and provide longer lasting energy. :-)

That is like comparing a steak to corn chips and being surprised that a steak has more protein.

    • This sounds bad but, for comparison, a 330mL can of Coke has 35g of sugar or 140% of the recommended daily intake. I did upvote the parent though - it's always good to be informed as a consumer.

      • We need to compare the sugar quantity per 100g/mL:

10.6g of sugar per 100mL of coke
9.5g of sugar per 100g of yogurt

They are have a similar amount of sugar for the same given quantity.

I pretty much just clicked this deal to look for comments about the sugar :D

    • Oh… but my dietitian recommended this brand?

  • It is offers like these which are a true test of self control. Trying to cut down sugar from diet, ha ha. Thanks OP regardless :)

  • YoPro is so much nicer.

and healthier. I was going to buy Chobani but then realized what is going to happen in long run in I am taking 4 teaspoon of sugar every day just in yogurt.

  • At this time of year we buy fruit and wiz it to create a purée. We then put it on Greek yogurt, instant dessert. No added sugar and tastes great.

You are adding sugar with the fruit

      • -1

yes, I know fruit comes with sugar, but i am not adding even more, which is what the flavoured fruit Yogurts do.
