My mother told me the other day to stop sharing our conversation with everyone on the internet, so ummmm yeah…oh look another Bose sale! I wasn't planning on doing another deal for a few weeks, but I am so excited about all our fellow brothers and sisters voting yes, and to those that vote no, we still love you!

      So, let me give you a scenario. When Harvey Norman opens up a new store, they register a new company for that store. Does that mean you shouldn't trust that store because it is newly registered?

      Let's get real here, there is no way in hell a new company can get prices to where we are at. This is a new venture for us and this is our third deals post. If anyone has not received their order at the times we have mentioned, there would be complaints on this post by now.

      Online retailing is the new venture, but our business has been around quite a while.

  • Im thinking of getting some decent headphones for the gym, are these a bit big for that kind of thing? Guessing running would make them a bit sweaty and gross?

      The noise cancellation would be awesome in a gym, but the paddings around the ears would definitely be gross when you sweat. They completely wrap around your ears so I would assume your ears will get extremely hot on top of that.

      You will get much much too sweaty in these at the gym. I would look at something like the Bose sports headphones, Apple AirPods, Jaybird Bluebuds.

  • OP, any cheap, wired Sennheiser headphones on discount? My old, trusted 202 HD cans for my PC kicked the bucket a while ago so I am in the market for another similar pair.

    Still I wouldnt pay 300 dollars for headphones. My ears cannot recognize the quality of sound costing hundreds dollars. 30dollars is way enough.

      Sorry, I have no ETA when our next shipment will arrive so we won't be accepting any more orders. We take our delivery times seriously, so only when we know when we can deliver, will we do another deal.

    I ordered the 1000XM2’s from one of their previous sales; they arrived today and they’re amazing. I’d highly recommend these headphones (and this store).

  • If anyone is looking to get the Sony and has the Amex offer for Harvey Norman, call up your local store and mention that the online guys approved price reduction down to $400 via a voucher for a friend but told you to do it instore instead. I got it down to $400 at HN flagship store in Auburn. So it comes to $300 after the offer, and $264 after claiming GST.

  • Hi Op, so my order that I placed was sent to the wrong address, your company made an error on the delivery docket and got the last number wrong… my house number is 160 but you put 161. After a few days of trying to reason with the resident, I had to threaten them with getting police involved, they finally handed the headphones over.

    Sent your company an email of the error and the issues that this error had caused me.
    I have not received a reply or even a courtesy email after a week. So much for the great customer service you're supposed to have.

    Needless to say I won't be buying from your company again.

    • Mate, its Christmas period, we are inundated with a lot of things. Your request for a full refund as a "gesture of goodwill" is totally unreasonable, considering that the following occurred:-
      a. When our status changed from Processing to Courier Booked, an email is sent out to you stating all delivery details. You did not notify us of any incorrect details.
      b. When our status changed from Courier Booked to Order Being Delivered, another email was sent out to you. Again, you did not notify us of any issues.
      c. When the status changed from Order Being Delivered to Completed, another email was sent out to you. You also did not notify us of any issues.
      d. You only notified us of all your issues AFTER you proceeded to threaten your neighbours for fraud and you already received your item back.

      It is very hard for us to rectify any issues if you do not notify us. It is also very difficult to solve a problem that you have already resolved yourself. It is also unreasonable to then request for a full refund. Also your threat of posting bad reviews about us unless we acknowledge your problem just further cements the decision not to do anything with your case.

      Had you taken reasonable steps to notify us, or even just been polite about the situation, we could have done something. No matter what, you cannot expect to get the product and have a full refund as well when we do not know anything about it until everything was resolved.

        Just so we are clear, I did not ask for a full refund. Yes I asked for some form of gesture of goodwill due to the issues this has caused me. If you aren't going that's fine, but a simple reply to my email would have been professional and courteous. I don't think my email were rude at all. Put yourself in my shoes, if this happened to you, you would have been frustrated too.

        I said in my email it was a present for someone over the weekend, so I needed the headphones to give it to them. The house resident being a dick it your fault, I was merely telling you what I had to do to retrieve the parcel because you put the wrong address.

        Also with these supposed emails for order status changes, I received one which was the one which said my order was dispatched. Yeh I probably should have checked on the tracking what the address was, but please don't put the blame on me, your dispatch area made a mistake and you haven't even apologized for that.

        By stating that I would post reviews on Google or product reviews was for my experience with your customer service. Ie I had a problem due to an error of a wrong address, I emailed your company and for a whole week there is no reply until I post something on ozbargain. And the reply I get is putting the blame on me.

        Anyway it doesn't matter. This is just feedback for your company, if you get a complaint it would be good to just send a courtesy email even if it is simply "we apologize for the mix-up and the inconvenience caused".
