Possible date/time/place: Friday, December 1st from 6PM @ The Lagoon (Redcliffe). Awaiting new time/place.

it's friday, I'm usually pretty tuckered out after a big week at work so just ready to chill.

I'm interested in Redcliffe area bargains- places to shop/discounted retailers etc.

maybe Scotty or Neil could throw some t-shirts this way?

The last Ozbargain meet up that I organised in Beijing in September was a success so I'm running with the water theme again.

      december 1st.?

      30 days has january, april may june and december, the remaining 8 have 31, except February which has 23, and Bargaintober which is 10% off

    so the traffic is going to be pretty crap around that time.

    great idea probably would be better suited to an actual weekend day instead of a friday night

    I'm happy to put my hand up to organise the Brisbane event?

    Here are some options:

    • City - HJ: reusable vouchers, line our stomachs and we can go bar hopping
    • Southbank: we can combine entertainment book vouchers for cheap eats
    • West End?
    • Fortitude Valley?

    Geez it's been 5 years since the last Brisbane/first ever OzBargain meet up! Hardly have time to hang around the forums these days so I only just found out about this year's possible meet ups… good that other hands are up to organise something, I will try to come along if I can make it. Recently learnt about a venue with free hire - Wandering Cooks in South Brisbane. Could be an option.

    I guess this is looking unlikely to happen… if anyone is free this Friday night see my separate post for a potential mini-meetup (free food and live entertainment, but there's only 2 spaces available).
