Buckfast Tonic Wine, commonly known as Bucky, is a fortified wine with lots of caffeine made at the Buckfast Abbey in Devon, England. Six million bottles sold worldwide every year and it's starting to go nuts here in Australia.

The recipe for the Tonic wine is attributed to the original French monks who settled at the Abbey in the 1880’s. Base wines from Spain, known as mistellas, were imported and to these were added the tonic ingredients according to an old recipe.

Delivery: $3.50 Sydney metro. $7.95 Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane. $8.95 Adelaide, Hobart and Perth.

      Nothing cheap about it these days! Especially now the Scottish Govt have introduced minimum pricing per alcohol unit.

    Lol $20! It's not called (profanity) in UK/Ireland by the kids for no reason. I never knew anyone who bought this 'cult' wine for its enjoyment over its effects. If you want to enjoy a fortified, Australia has many to pick from that would be cheaper and better.. If you just want something to help get blotto, this can be that Tuesday night date you've been dreaming of who knows just how to make you feel even worse about yourself.
