      Gt sport is a great game but don't get it for the VR mode. Vr is extremely barebones in it and no progress is made in the game through it etc

        Maybe I will just stick with DriveClub VR. As much as I'm sure GT is a better value prospect, I just want a really good VR racer to play with on my new toy.

        I mean, I might get it anyway, because 35 is a steal, but I might think about it for a couple days until the sale starts. Thanks a bunch for that dude, I'll look into exactly what's available and what isn't after work tomorrow, cheers.

          There are only two modes in VR for GTS. A 1 v 1 race with AI, and another were you can walk around your car in a garage. That's it.

          Like, thanks a bunch for letting me know, guys, but like, I was pretty keen. At least DriveClub VR can't let me down, I adored the original game, a separate release, albeit smaller, consisting solely of VR stuff? Guess I'll be sticking with that one.

          @TheDukeOfNukem: driveclub VR is definitely the better vr game but I still think GT sport is well worth it for the non vr modes, so much fun racing online and it's nice to have a proper progression system with no stupid microtransaction crate system!

          Edit: also worth saying Driveclub VR is great but a little blurry, unfortunately the developers were shut before they could do a ps Pro patch so if u have the pro you get no benefit sadly. Still the car details are great it's just the scenery which is blurry. Also no weather in vr :(

          @bloobat: I've played all the GT's except 6 (including the PSP one) and I'm not desperately craving another one right now, as for online I just straight don't care. I got Battlefront 2 solely for the offline stuff man.

          Cheers for all the advice though. I think GT for 35 is a great price, but if I'm not gonna get the most out of it, I'll leave it on the shelf for someone else to snag a bargain.

    Keen to buy GT Sport and don't even own a PS4! Waiting to see a PS4 Pro for $399 and PSVR for maybe $299 (with camera).

      Thoughts on the game? There are some mixed reviews about it, some criticism about the "breadth" of the game - range of cars etc.

      This could be a game to buy for $35, play it like buggery for a month, then sell it for the same price around Xmas?

        I bought it at release and think it was well worth full price. There isn't another racing game like it and the online is just so so good, no idiotic rammers etc.

        The singleplayer challenges are acually really good fun too!

        Very polished gameplay. Best console racer by a mile. Nurburgring with a wheel and a GR4 is pure godliness.

        But the "campaign" is crazy short and online multiplayer is too frustrating. With only 40 hours gameplay I'm over it.

      On the one hand, that sounds brilliant.

      On the other, in my experience, when something is returned they have to put it in the back or whatever and can't straight up resell it five minutes later.

      It's a risk, could be worth the risk though. Either way, I'd just run over to JB, EB, or Big W and match if Target were out of stock.

      Same . Was my favourite racing game back on playstation 1 .
      Was a bargain hunter back then too. At 15/16yo I Would seek out bargains from garage sales, then sell on Trading post. Sold off all the stero's and vcr i had acrued from garage sales etc, and bought my 1st playstation back in 96 at age 16 for $599 (on a deal, $100 off the RRP with a game) 😆 .
      Wipeout was so fast paced, for a game way back then .

      It will be both, for PS4 I would watch target ebay for price change then use 5% off code if you want the PS4 Although not on there yet I would still keep an eye out

          Think that Just means some products won't be available in some stores but the sale is Nationwide so if your store stocks the item it will be on special and yes the PS4 Slim is not on ebay yet but like I said still keep an eye on it

    Ghost recon wildlands is surprisingly good. Huge map with heaps of content. Well worth the small asking price imo.

      I'd recommend rachet and clank, knack 2 or the crash bandicoot insane trilogy. All are great fun and would be enjoyed by a 10 year old. Knack 2 can also be played through in two player mode.

          Mnnn GT sport could be played by a child but tbh its quite a serious game. The menus and events etc are classy but also adult focussed I would say and the racing is very much about driving politely with penalties for cutting corners etc.

          If you want to get them a racing game your much better off getting either driveclub or the crew. Both are great to mess around in and driveclub on particular looks fantastic and is easy to just pick up and play. It's also really cheap nowadays which is good. The crew is also cheap and is open world so great for exploring in your car.

          The crew is online focussed but you won't hear people talking or anything if that's what your worried about.

    Just got my copies of Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy from EB Games (price matched to $24 each).

    Also got a voucher code for "Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy" along with Lost Legacy (leftover preorder bonus?), but since I have zero interest in it, if anybody wants the code it's right here:

    The code isn't due to expire until 31/12/2020, so if it doesn't work for you, somebody else has probably claimed it already.
