    If it wasn't for the 'music' tag I wouldn't know what type of software this might work with (video, photoshop, 3D …?) wonder what program or OS… but I don't do music stuff so probably not worth the click.

      Most Waves plugins are compatible across all platforms/OS. :)
      I've used one of their compressors in Adobe premier to master the audio track so this 'New' Plugin could benefit people working with video.

    they just giving out the update thats all? isn't it free in the first place?

      There is no information regarding what will be released on the 24th other than 'A Brand New Plugin'.

        ya its a "Plugin"! not the main program.
        just same as any other plugins, u need the main program to make it works.

    You will probably need to install Waves Central to use it. It's a free download as it's just the licensing manager.

      I assume Brand new plugin would be something not yet released. The others are all good. Hoping for C4 or Q10 myself.

      The voting page was posted from their Twitter account. It is still open, but on the waves website it says they are releasing a new plugin - get it for free. Perhaps, the vote is already closed??

          I've used C4 on another system and it's very cool. $29US on sale at the moment. I will buy it if it's not the freebie.

          @sonify: Yeah, VU is useful, but not very exciting :D I just bought C4 along with some other items. Only a few hours of sale left.
