    For my Europe bookings the Expedia Amex cashback combined with CR worked out cheaper. For those without the deal though this is always a good deal.

    i used cheaptickets for my USA trip, found that between the 18% off deal, expedia and wotif (all the same company) the prices werent too different

    So these are shown with US$ prices which means they're shown without taxes (will be added on the final checkout page). Give or take they're ~5-7% so you're effectively getting about the same as the Expedia Mastercard 12% off deal.

      I hesitated booking when I read your post re; the extra 5-7% on the final page, but in the end I proceeded anyway, and I never got presented with any extra taxes/charges etc. I was quoted US$602.08 on the first page and I was billed that on the last page. Maybe they get me later?! Confirmation page:

        I think it depends on the hotel's country and local taxes. I was looking at NZ hotels and the taxes were listed separately.
