Not as good in some cases, but price is great
the 850 is slightly better but not $150 better, this ssd is fine

@ProdigyInspired: i wouldn't count on it there hasn't been a cheaper one since august and that was only by $1 and before that probably last year due to the memory shortages

Quick google says it has roughly the same random 4K QD1 read as the mx300, which is the spec you mainly care about for gaming / fast windows loading. For the price it's not bad, but not as good as the 850 evo.
So tempting on the Transcend 480GB SSD
